Pregnancy Reveal

I've been stressed out since last week, since I last saw Maci. Yeah, we're friends. I went over to her house the day after my hand healed, and she made me take a pregnancy test. And it tested positive. Which meant I was pregnant. What the fuck am I going to tell Brendon?! Brendon could sense something was up, because he had a worried look in his chocolate eyes as I stayed up all night, worrying. I hoped the baby had his eyes instead of mine. Maci told me it's too late to abort it, whatever that meant. But fuck, I hope Brendon doesn't leave me. He probably doesn't even want a kid. I should just leave now, because all this is going to do is cause Brendon even more stress. I caused him enough problems already. This is just going to make stuff worse. "Lins. Babe, something's going on." Brendon nudged me out of my thoughts as he sat next to me on the couch. I don't know how to care for a kid. Even if I did, I couldn't manage on my own. Ugh. Why did I let this happen?! "Babe. If you won't tell me, I'll find out myself." I knew I was being a problem right now. I don't like to think my bitch ass mom was right about me being a big, fat, worthless, retarded, problematic, ugly cunt, but it's looking like she was right. Tears fell down my face. I knew I had to tell him, I just didn't know how. Hell, I barely even knew what the word 'pregnant' meant, until Maci explained that there was a human being growing inside of me. "Ssh. You know I don't like seeing you cry." Brendon wrapped his arms around me and whispered in my ear. "You can tell me anything. You know that, right?" I nodded, staring into his worried eyes as he wiped away my tears. "I-I-I'm... I'm..." Why the fuck can I not say it?! "I'm pregnant." I blurted. How the fuck did that just fly off my tongue?! The words felt strange coming out of my mouth. "Lindsey..." "You're going to leave me, aren't you?" I instantly regretted that sentence. "No. I wouldn't leave you even if somebody paid me a billion dollars. It would break my heart too much. And now we have a little munchkin to call our own." Tears welled up in his eyes and rained down his face. "Why are you sad, then?" I asked him, probably sounding like a goddamn idiot while wiping the tears from his face. "These are tears of joy. Little baby feet are going to be running around here and calling us Mommy and Daddy." My frown had turned upside down and into a smile so big it would've broken my face. Brendon turned on 'Victorious,' which I thought was funnily weird, and started jamming out to it. I gave up on the routine I was doing when I met him and joined him for the first hook.

Tonight we are victorious
Champagne pouring over us
All my friends we're glorious
Tonight we are victorious

Oh oh oh
Victorious
Oh oh oh

Double bubble disco queen
Headed to the guillotine
Skin as cold as Steve McQueen
Let me be your killer King

It hurts until it stops
We will love until it's not
On a killing spree in white
Eyes like broken Christmas lights

My touch
Is black and poisonous
And nothing like my punch, drunk kiss
I know you need it, do you feel it
Drink the water, drink the wine

Oh we gotta turn up the crazy
Livin like a washed up celebrity
Shootin fireworks like it's the Fourth of July
Until we feel alright
Until we feel alright

I'm like a scarf trick, it's all up the sleeve
I taste like magic, waves that swallow quick and deep
Throw the bait, catch the shark, bleed the water red
Fifty words for murder, and I'm every one of them

My touch
Is black and poisonous
And nothing like my punch, drunk kiss
I know you need it, do you feel it
Drink the water, drink the wine

Oh we gotta turn up the crazy
Livin like a washed up celebrity
Shootin fireworks like it's the Fourth of July

Tonight we are victorious
Champagne pouring over us
All my friends we're glorious
Tonight we are victorious

Tonight we are victorious
Champagne pouring over us
All my friends we're glorious
Tonight we are victorious

Oh we gotta turn up the crazy
Livin like a washed up celebrity
Shootin fireworks like it's the Fourth of July
Until we feel alright
Until we feel alright

Tonight we are victorious
Champagne pouring over us
All my friends we're glorious
Tonight we are victorious

That was one of my favorite songs ever. Brendon knew me so well. "That was the song where we met, Lins." 'Death of a Bachelor' came on, and Brendon put his hands on my waist while I put my hands on his shoulders and wrapped my arms around his neck as we sung to Brendon's voice.

Do I look lonely?
I see the shadows on my face
People have told me
I don't look the same
Maybe I lost weight
I'm playing hooky
With the best of the best
Put my heart on my chest
So that you can see it too

I'm walking the long road, watching the sky fall
The lace on your dress
Tangles my neck
How do I live

The death of a bachelor
Oh
Letting the water fall
The death of a bachelor
Oh
Seems so fitting for
Happily ever after
Oo
How could I ask for more
A lifetime of laughter
At the expense
Of the death of a bachelor

I'm cutting my mind off
It feels like my heart is going to burst
Alone at a table for two
And I just want to be served
And when you think of me
Am I the best you've ever had
Share one more drink with me
Smile even though you're sad

I'm walking the long road, watching the sky fall
The lace in your dress
Tangles my neck
How do I live

The death of a bachelor
Oh
Letting the water fall
The death of a bachelor
Oh
Seems so fitting for
Happily ever after
Oo
How could I ask for more
A lifetime of laughter
At the expense
Of the death of a bachelor

The death of a bachelor
Oh
Letting the water fall
The death of a bachelor
Oh
Seems so fitting for
Happily ever after
Oo
How could I ask for more
A lifetime of laughter
At the expense
Of the death of a bachelor

My head rested on Brendon's chest as 'Miss Jackson' started playing. His hands slid slowly down my legs, scooped me into his arms bridal style, and carefully laid me on the couch beside him. His arms never left my body as his fingers lightly traced random shapes on my back. It sort of puzzled me how Brendon just let me, a fan, into his life. Shut up and sleep Lins. You'll figure it all out later.
