After a few hours in the car, I was taken out of my cage by my new owner. She smelt like cats. So she must be a cat person then. Oh yay.
The car eventually came to a stop. Once it did, I jumped out of her grasp and looked out the car window. It was a huge house. And I mean huge. She picked me up and this tall man in a black tuxito opened the back door for us. She stepped out of the car and carried me in one hand and the cage in the other. As we headed to the house, I saw something in the window. It kinda looked like another cat, but I'm not sure.
She set the cage down on the door step, grabbed these shiny dangly things out of her bag, and unlocked the door. "I'm home!" She yelled. I didn't quite understand who she was talking to, but it must've been the cat in the window.
She placed me down on the carpet and walked over into the biggest room. She seemed to be looking for something. No, not something. Someone. "Cocoa!" She called. That probably wasn't me. Well, I don't exactly know because I wasn't given a name yet. I hope it comes out something cute like LuLu or something.
Even though she wasn't calling me, I trotted over to her anyways. I meowed to get her attention and she spun around. "Oh yes, I forgot to give you a name!" She said happily. "Hmm. Let me think." She looked up at the ceiling for a little while, I thought she was staring at a spider or something, but no. Just the plain white ceiling. "Aha!" She exclaimed. "Stella!" Oh, that name is even better than LuLu! I like it! Thanks nice cat lady! I purred and rubbed against her leg.
She giggled, pointed at her chest, and said "Carol!" I guess that's her name... Then she walked over to the bookshelf and took out a nicely decorated box with gemstones and sparkles everywhere. In bold letters it read; CATS. Hmm. I don't know why it said that, but it just did.
Once she opened it, I could see all the colorful things inside. They were collars. Ew. I hate collars, they rub against your fur and make it itchy.
There were all sorts of kinds of collars. There was a blue one with clouds on it, a deep red one with a skull, and- she picked up a galaxy one. It was beautiful. It was a navy blue and deep purple with white dots here and there. It was just glorious!
She carefully slipped my head through it and rested it on my neck fur. Now I know I said I hate collars, but these ones were pretty. The lady closed the box and put it back on the bookshelf. She didn't have a shiny thing to put into my necklace, so she just left alone. "Now, run along Stella!" She smiled and waved her hands as to signal me to "shoo". I ran off into the hallway to explore.
