A year now has passed and the kittens have grown well. They were about half my size and beautiful fur. Today was the day. Today was the kittens birthday. In celebration, Carol gave all the kittens a collar.
I probably should've mentioned their names to Oliver before. He always forgets their names. That's fine, at least he remembered Pepper's name. Carol put the collars on one by one, and read the names out loud. All the collars were pink, except for Pepper's. His was black with white polka dots.
Carol read the names "Jennifer," she places Jennifer's collar on her, and she repeats their names while she puts the collars on them. Hannah, Tali, Tony, Betty, and Kira. Such beautiful names. Hopefully I will be able to remember them after Carol repeated them. I couldn't remember them on my own.
All the Kittens were happy with their collars. I smiled. Carol wasn't done though. She walked over to me and said "Oh I haven't forgotten about you!" She smiled, leaned over, and pet my head. She placed a shiny thing on my collar.
I gasped. Finally! I had the shiny thingy that Tucker was talking about! A... pend thingy... or something.... er.... pendant? I think that is what it is called. I was so happy I jumped around. I think I was more excited than the kittens. They saw my joy and decided to jump with me. We were all jumping around while Oliver, Tucker, and Carol watched and giggled. Tucker ran over to us and decided to jump along with us!
After a few minutes of jumping and laughing, we were exhausted. I fell to the ground and sighed. Jennifer, Kira, Tony, Betty, Tali, Hannah, and Pepper rushed over to me and rested on my stomach. Tucker laid next to me and half the kittens laid on top of him. Now it isn't so heavy on me!
I felt sleepy after that, so I didn't move and kinda fell asleep. I don't really remember what happened next, because I was sleeping, but the morning past, and all of a sudden, something heavy fell on my chest. I woke up with a thud and saw what it was. It was Tucker.
"Wazzup?" I say. "I dunno," he replied. "Just felt like it." He snickers. I couldn't help it but to giggle back. He jumps off of me and says "I have something for you." He turns around and grabs something. I couldn't quite tell what it was though.
He stand up and he gives me a dead robin. Cute. "Thank you." I said and licked his cheek. To be honest, I'm kinda liking this cat.

Anyway, I took the robin from his mouth and smiled. He just stood there frozen. He must of liked that...
I turn around and head out of the room to place the bird on my house. He shakes his head and runs after me. "Hey! Wait up!" He finally caught up to me and said " you're fast!" I couldn't reply because of the bird in my mouth, so I just nodded.
As we entered the cat room, we saw all the cats playing, including Pepper. I counted the cats just to make sure they were all there. One, two, three, four, five. Ok, two must be somewhere else. I look around and spot one in my cat house. I giggle and walk over to her.
It was Tali. How cute. She pounces on top of me and I pretend to get hurt as I dropped the bird. "Oh no! The princess has slain the mighty dragon!" And then I play dead. "Muahaha!" She laughs and jumps on me. I giggle and nudge her off of me.
I picked the bird back up, wandered over to my house, and carefully placed the bird inside. Now I have to find where the last kitten is hiding.
I get out of my house and skim the room. I couldn't find the kitten. I raced over to the playing kittens and counted again. One, two, three, four, five, six. SIX. Oh no. I check to see who was missing. I had too pick them up because they were all in a ball. I picked up Betty. After I picked her up, I heard a new from above.
I look up to see one little blonde kitten on the top of the highest cat house. I opened my mouth in awe and dropped Betty. She scurried away. I look closer. Wait a moment. It had blue eyes. All the kittens had green eyes. Huh. I never really never payed attention to her eyes because I all assumed they were the same.
Oh now I know who it is. The pendent glowed from the light reflecting off of it. It was Tony. Poor kitten. I race over to the cat house, trying not to tumble over all of the cat toys. Once I get to the house, I start to climb. I didn't want her to fall to her death, so I hurried as fast as I could.
Tony backed away from the edge and meowed a second time. I called Tucker for him to catch her in case if she falls. He rushed over to the bottom of the cat house.
