I woke up to the weirdest noise ever. It was like a cat was dying. I get up and climb out of the cat house to see who was making that noise. I jump down and rush out the door. The wailing was coming from upstairs, I could easily tell. I ran upstairs and followed the noise that led me to an empty room.
Well, the room wasn't completely empty, there was a box. That's where the cry came from. I approached the box and patted it. The screams stopped. I hestitated before opening it. And then a cat popped out. It was a beautiful golden cat. It was very fluffy with a pink diamond collar with something golden hanging off of it.
It can't be Cocoa... Or is it? I expected cocoa to be brown. I sniffed her and she hissed at me. "An ally cat? Get away you filthy creature!" Oh brother. A drama queen. Obviously she wasn't Oliver, so she must be Liliana. "An ally cat?" I replied. "I'm not an ally cat, I was born in a house and lived in there for all my lifetime up until now!" She looked at me up and down. "You're a strange cat," she begun. "Blue and green fur, a pair of wings, what are you? You don't exactly look like a normal bred cat." I really didn't want to talk to her. She was a snob.
"So, Liliana-"
"How did you know my name?! Are you a witch cat?! Is that why you look ugly?!" Ugh. She was getting on my nerves. I don't think I will ever like this cat. "No, I just saw your name on a cat bowl." Yes she was pretty mean, but I still treated her nicely so that we don't start a cat fight. "Hmm. Well then, what's your name?" She asked. "I'm Stella." I replied. Liliana slipped her head back into the box and said
"Hello Stella, now goodbye."
"Wait!" I said
"What is it now?"
"Why where you yelling?" I was curious, so I had to ask.
"I'm expecting kittens soon, and you don't know how painful it is." It's true, I've never had kittens before, so I didn't know what the pain feels like. "Now shoo. I'm telling you, my mood changes a lot when im in pain." That explains a lot. "Ok" I said and wandered off.
That was really interesting. I still had many questions burning through my head, but didn't bother to ask because she was in a grumpy mood. Oh well. As I walked out, I bumped into a cat. The cat took a step back and apologized. I apologized back, because I felt like it was my fault.
"Sorry love, didn't see you there." He said. Oh, so he's the gentlemen kind of cat, I see. He was a handsome silver cat with white stripes. The think that caught my eye was his unusual green paw and tail. At least I wasn't the only cat with odd colors. He had beautiful lime eyes, and a bright green ribbon around his neck with a now on his back. It was his collar. I could tell because of the dangly thing hanging from it."It was an accident, I'm fine, but thank you." I replied.
"I'm Tucker, what your name darling?" I stuttered while I spoke. I don't know why, but I was really nervous. "I-I'm Stella, nice t-to meet you T-Tucker..."
"You alright?"
"Y-yeah, just fine!"
"Alrighty then!" He said. He sat down in front of me, so I sat down too. "Do you have any questions at all?"
"About anything?"
"About anything." I actually did have a lot of questions. But I decided to lay only a few on him. I played with the shiny thing hanging from his bow and asked "What's this for?"
"It's called a pendant. It's to tell who I belong to, where I live, and my name. It's like that so anyone can return my to my rightful owner. It's also to stop me from going into the pound."
"Huh, that's interesting. I'd like one of those. Not only because it's shiny, but because I wouldn't have to go to the pound again."
"Again?"
"Yeah, I ended up in there, u don't know how, but I just did. But then your- I mean our owner came and picked me up!"
"That's great! Well, not great that you were in the pound, great that you are here now!" Tucker and I talked for a while. I asked him some more questions, he asked me some things, and yeah, Tucker and I got along well. He even told me about the other 3 three cats.
Tucker and I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. It was Carol. "Ok little ones, time for breakfast!" She announced and smiled. Oh yay! My first meal!
Everyone in the house except for Liliana came down to eat. I didn't have a bowl, so Tucker let me share with him. He was so nice. While we we're eating, Carol picked up the blank blue bowl, walked into the kitched, filled it up with food, and wrote in sharpie on it. She set the bowl down and I glanced at it. It said: STELLA. Awesome. I only thought it would be fair if I shared with Tucker. So that is what I did.
I think I'm starting to like this family. And I mean like it a lot. I can't wait to learn more.
