Chapter 6 - A Kiss

After that night, I really don't remember what happened next. I woke up next to Tucker with Pepper in between us. I didn't want to wake them up, so I just went back to sleep.
A few moments later, I heard "psst" it was Tucker. I open my eyes to see him smiling. "Cute, right?" He whispered. I nodded. "What happened?" I whispered back.
"When you went to sleep, I decided to sleep next you. Then this lil rascal came in when you were sleeping." He said. "He called for you, but I told him that "Mommy is sleeping."
"Oh..." I replied. Right as Tucker was about to say something, Pepper shifted around, and opened his eyes slowly. "Mommy?" He asked. "Yes dear?" I said. "I had a bad dream last night." Aw, poor kid. "It's ok Pepper, it was just a dream." I told him. He seemed satisfied with that answer.
After that moment, he got up and ran back to his room. "Well that was strange." Tucker said. I giggled. "Yeah, I'm gonna sleep a bit longer, ok?" I said. "Sure thing." He got up and left the room leaving me in the cat bed.
A few hours passes. I think. And I woke up to half of the kittens jumping on top if me. I got up and saw Oliver rushing into the room as fast as possible with the other 3 kittens in his mouth, disclosing Pepper. Who wasn't with his siblings.
"Where is Pepper?" I asked. Oliver spit out the kittens. "He's with Tucker." Oliver replied. Ok. At least he's with someone. I groaned and got up, which knocked the kittens off their feet. "Sorry," I said to them and walked over to Oliver.
"Thanks for watching them for me." I said and rubbed against him as I passed him. "No problem." He replied.
As I passed through the hallway, I noticed that Tucker and Pepper were playing in the living room by the entrance. I walked into the room and sat down. I smiled as I watched them play together. They seemed so happy.
Pepper got a glimpse of me and yelled "Mommy!" He ran over to me and Tucker follows after. Pepper jumped into my arms and laughed. "I had fun with daddy!" I giggled. "Did you now?" "Yeah!"
I was glad to see him so happy. Tucker sat right next to me. "So," Pepper asked. "Why don't you and daddy ever kiss?" Oh man.
I looked at Tucker, who seemed to be really embarrassed with his red face. I was too. My face was like a tomato. "Well... Umm..." I stuttered. Before I could finish my sentence, Tucker licked my cheek. "There," Tucker said. "Happy?" Pepper gasped and smiled. "Yay!"
I can't believe that Tucker just did that! My fave turned all red and Pepper jumped off of me and ran off. Tucker chased after him. I felt like fainting. It was a lot to take in.
I kinda just stood there like an idiot thinking about what just happened. It wouldn't go out of my mind...
        To make it less akward, I decided to play with Tucker and Pepper.
