I could see Tony clearly now. She was shaking where she stood and her claws were out. Poor thing. I got on top of the cat house and she raced over to me and clung onto me like a cat.
Oh wait.... Nevermind....
I carefully placed her onto my back and looked over. No wonder she was scared! This thing is as tall as a tree! I saw Tucker's worried face relax a little bit.
The house started to wobble. This thing wasn't very stable, so I had to hurry. I looked ahead of me to see the other cat house, that was just a few feet lower than this one. It was a risky jump, but I had to do it.
I got into a pouncing position. Right I was about to pounce, I could feel Tony's claws dig into my skin. It startled me, and it caused a terrible jump.
I panicked as we just missed the target. I could feel my paw touch the house, but didn't make it. I know I could survive this fall, it's not that high up. But it's high enough to kill Tony.
Since she was still clinging to my back, she would hit the floor first. Speaking of floor, it was getting closer.
I could feel Tony's grasp let go. I was heavier, so I fell faster. I see her falling above me. Hopefully she will land on my stomach... Maybe if I-Thud.• • •
Ugh. My whole body hurts... I wouldn't expect it to hurt, because the fall wasn't that high. My assumption was wrong.... I slowly open my eyes to see what has happened. I see a blurry grey figure with a splash of green on each side of it standing in front of me.
I turned my head in the other direction to see a tiny black figure. I closed my eyes in pain and rested there. But wait. Something hit me. Literally. Something jumped on top of me. I look ahead of me and see a black and white figure, pushing on my chest and a tiny blond spot on my blue fur.
What...? My vision cleared up some more, and I recognized it. It was Tony laying on my stomach. Oh my god is she ok?! I panicked and tried to get up, but Tucker motioned me down and soothed me. "Lay back down please, Tony is alright."
I layed back down and watched Tony breath... Thank god... I watched Tucker leave the room. Oliver asked me questions "are you alright? Are you hurt? Where are you hurt?!" Heh... Silly guy. No need to panic, I'm alright. I thought. I smiled. Why would he panic? Well.. We are kinda a family now... I wouldn't blame him... Heh...
I closed my eyes and tried to sleep the pain away. I eventually did fall asleep to the sound of humming.. I wondered who was humming, but I couldn't figure it out...
