Carley's POV

I rolled over and saw Maddie curled up in a ball asleep on the floor with a strange blue glowing sphere surrounding her. She was in the corner of the room which was about as far away from me as you could get. I looked around the room and saw all of my stuff was destroyed. There were holes in the walls and things spread out all over the floor.

I tried to stand up when I winced in pain. I fell back and couldn't move. I yelled Maddie's name, she looked over at me in fear. I hated that feeling, I never wanted people to fear me especially my best friend. She crawled over to me cautiously and the strange blue sphere still following her.

She sat right next to me and asked "what's wrong?" The blue sphere quickly disappeared and her fear turned into concern. When I saw Maddie lightly put her hand on my shoulder a feeling overwhelmed me. Anger.

I swung my arm to push her away and she went flying across the room. The blue sphere that was there earlier came again. I charged towards Maddie, right when I was about to reach her I was stopped. The blue sphere was blocking me. I got even angrier, I punched and punched at the sphere but it never broke.

Maddie managed to get her phone out of her back pocket and call someone. I didn't see who she called but I had a feeling she called for help. "The boys are coming over here. Don't leave. They are gonna help you," Maddie stated. "What time is it?" I growled angrily. "It's 3:26, we missed school," She answered.

I punched a few more holes in my wall when I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. I flashed over to the door to lock it, when it opened by itself.

I saw five boys staring at me with their mouths wide open standing on the other side of the door.
