Differences

Chapter 8

*Maddie's POV*

                I knew I couldn't get Carley to calm down by myself, so I called the first people I could think of. "Guys, it's Maddie. Carley's going crazy or something. You need to get here as quick as possible." I told them the address and looked up at Carley. She had a confused look on her face. I shrugged and she continued to beat my force field with her fists and kick it.

                When the boys got to her house, they were staring at her with their mouths wide open. They came over to me while Harry tried to hold Carley off because he also had super strength. I let all four of the boys into my force field, while Carley pushed Harry against the force field. "Ow," he stated, causing me to giggle. I quickly let him into my force field and we sorta cowered into the wall while Carley tried, unsuccessfully, to break the force field.

                After about 30 minutes, she finally finished her 'change'. She passed out while I gasped. It doesn't sound like it, but holding a force field up for a straight 30 minutes is exhausting.

I got a drink of water and almost did a spit-take when I heard Carley's dad yelling, "WHAT WAS GOING ON UP THERE?!?!"  I went in the living room to be with everyone else. Zayn then said, "I got this," (famous last words ;P) and used his hypnotism to make her parents forget about the past day. Carley looked very relieved and high fived Zayn.

We all started to go downstairs and leave Carley on the floor when Harry said "so are we just going to leave her here?" We all turned around and remembered about her. Harry bent down and picked Carley up bridal style and walked towards the door. We all stared at him, "well I'm not going to leave her," Harry said pushing his way past us.

     "Now that all that is behind us, lets go get pizza!" Louis screamed, pointing towards the door and rushing off. I giggled as Liam rolled his eyes. "Is he always like this?" I asked Niall. He shook his head, grabbed my hand, and pulled me out the door. I giggled as we got in Louis' mom's minivan. "Don't laugh, it's the only car that will fit all of us," Louis explained. Niall elbowed me lightly in a joking matter, and boy did those fireworks go boom. No, I can't like a boy I've known for only a little while. Maddie, chill, no, don't......

Yep I like him.

*at the pizza place*

Louis helped me out of the van and yep, again, fireworks. Boom boom. Lights.
