Chapter 4: Robots????

"Booyakabunga!!!! Aw, yeahhh!"

This remote car is freakin' awesome yo! I fiddled with the remote of the little car as it made a few turns and swerves. Every flick of a lever had a response. Turn left, right. Go forward, backward. It was color green, just like me!

I made a few car noises then I heard the ringtone of my T-phone, that was just sitting beside me with my knapsack. I placed the remote down on the ground and grabbed my phone.

I looked at the caller name: Leo

Sup bro!

I leaned against the wall and placed my free arm behind my head.

Mikey, where are you? You said you wouldn't stay long. You brought your trench-coat and hat right? What if someone sees you o- or- what if-

Ah same old Leo. Always worried.

Pfffft, chillax there brother. No one's here. I brought the coat and hat too. I'm in the canal. It's kinda like the sewers and I'm pretty sure nobody comes here.

I quickly placed the phone in between the side of my head and shoulder to hold it.

Are you sure Mikey?

I grabbed the remote and played with the car.

Yup.

What are doing there anyway? You better not be sneaking out just to get a slice of pizza.

I giggled. Really Leo?

I playing with the remote controlled car. You know, the green one.

I made vroom and car sounds outloud for him to hear. I heard him sigh in return.

You probably shouldn't stay out too long. We're not in New York you know.

I groaned lightly.

C'mon just a few more minutes? I still wanna play.

Fine. Just head to April's house instead of the convenience store parking since Mr. O'Neil left the house awhile ago.

Oh yeah time to hangout with April! Just like old times.

Sure thing bro.

April's probably gonna be back soon too. Don't want the pizza to be finished.

I know. Bye now you're taking up all my minutes.

I hung up and removed the phone in between my head and shoulder. Placing the phone in my belt pocket, I grabbed the remote with both hands and intensely played with the car that made cute little engine roars.

Then, I started to hear another engine roar. A real one. It was faint and it started to get louder. I looked up and next thing I knew a motorcycle jumped up in the air and slid down and landed a few feet away from me. I dropped the remote in shock and stood up.

My eyes widened as I saw April on the bike. "April!! Whoa, that was... awesome?"

She looked at me, panting. She shook her head and gasped, "You have no idea."
