Chapter 5: Meet Team Prime

"Soooo, should we tell them?" Mikey asked me as we walked out of KO Burger together.

Luckily, my dad had to go to hospital this morning. He said one of the doctors couldn't come and he was the only one available. He told me he might have to stay there for a few more hours.

Mikey was wearing his fedora and trenchcoat with a knapsack on his shoulder as we paced down the sidewalk.

I shook my head. "No... I don't... I don't know. Should we? I mean they might freak out or something and those... talking robots might not like it if we tell others."

Mikey sighed. "They will find out eventually you know," He said nonchalantly, then grinned.  "Besides, we've seen enough crazy stuff our whole lives. People turning into animals and other creatures, fighting a talking fish and wolf or dog, visiting other worlds and fighting bug and dinosaur creatures. I mean why would they freak out?"

I smiled back at him. "Yeah, I guess you're right. They're used to crazy stuff. But we have to tell the robot... whatever they are, first, before we tell the other turtles and Casey."

"Hmm, yeah I guess so," Mikey agreed, crossing his arms.

We both heard a honk of a horn. It was the yellow car with black stripes from yesterday. Me and Mikey glanced at each other, and walked to the vehicle. As we went near it, the door opened. It started to make beeping sounds like it was speaking, making me furrow my brows.

"It wants us to get in?" I tried to guess what he said.

Mikey then shook his head. "No, just me."

I looked at him, "What?"

He then turned his head from me and pointed. "Yours is over there," He said as I followed his finger and saw the pink and blue motorbike parked in the exact spot I first found her. Outside the burger place.

"So how's it going?" Mikey asked the yellow car as he went in.

The car drove off and I was left alone. I glanced at the motorbike. Sighing, I walked toward it and unsure of what I should say. I then stopped at my tracks and went the opposite direction.

Who am I kidding? I don't want to be caught up in another alien invasion. My dad will freak out even more. We moved here to Jasper to live a normal, boring life. But all of a sudden I meet talking robots that turn into vehicles.

I kept on walking away from the motorbike until I noticed Casey Jones entering KO Burger. Oh shell! He might wonder why am I here. I ran even more and entered an alley.

I then heard an engine roar followed by the motorcycle driving to me with a... person riding it? I thought they drove by themselves?

The motorcycle then drove in front of me. "Relax, I just want to talk to you," She said.

I crossed my arms and glared at the person riding. "You mean you and your new friend?"

I heard a buzz sound, the person riding then glitched and disappeared making me realize it was a hologram all along.

"Kid, there's a lot you don't understand." She said sternly.
