New neighborhood, New life. I guess. It's been three or four days already. How's Jasper? Well, fine I guess. I mean it's just like New York. Minus the very tall buildings and apartments, and of course the mutants and aliens.

I sighed. It's only been like two or three days and I'm starting to feel homesick. I miss New York. I miss the turtles. Casey, Karai, the Mighty Mutanimals. I don't want to be normal. I'm not even normal. I have freakin' telekinesis. How can I ever be normal?

I strode along the sidewalk with my backpack on. Apparently today was the first day of my job at KO Burger, a fast food restaurant. Yes, I have a job. Besides it would probably make me forget about New York a bit and get used to the new surroundings. And we could use a few bucks.

My dad on the other hand was now working in the Jasper Hospital. Since he's kinda a doctor, he could probably put his skills to good use.

As I entered the fast food restaurant, the scents of the burgers and fries flooded my nose. I glanced around. It was pretty like any ordinary fast food place. Sheesh, I'm remembering Mr. Murakami's Noodle Shop back in New York. He was an awesome cook. Like what Donnie said, 'A ninja, but for food.'

I met the manager and he told me some of the rules and regulations. Do's and don't's. Stuff like that. My shift was three and a half hours. After finishing up, I grabbed my backpack and walked out. The sun was starting to set. I felt a vibration in my pocket. It was my T-phone on silent mode. I pulled it out and unlocked my phone. It was a text from my dad:

Hi April, I just arrived at Jasper Hospital. I hope your first day on your job wasn't so bad.

Yeah, it wasn't bad. But it was kinda boring. It was just take the order, give them the order, and get the payment. I took a deep breath. It this what I'm gonna do for the rest of my life?

My walk to my house took like a few minutes. As I was nearing my house, I noticed a moving van parked right on the sidewalk near my house. I furrowed my eyebrows. Did dad hire a moving van?? If he did, he would've told me.

Wait, hold on. I ran to the van. In the side was written, 'Tortuga Bros. Moving - Since 1997'. Tortuga brothers?? I know Tortuga means turtle in spanish or something. And 1997 was when the turtles were... born?? Turtles? Here??

"Hey, there Red," A familiar voice said near me.

I gasped and turn, to see Casey Jones with a smirk, leaning at the van, with hands in his pockets

"Casey?!" I mumbled happily.

"The one and only," He said with another smirk as he moved away from the van and toward me.

I wheezed happily and pulled him into a hug. My eyes started to feel wet. Am I crying??

"Whoa, you okay, April?" Casey asked as I let go.

I wiped my damp eyes with my forearms and looked at him. "I'm fine Casey. It's just... I miss seeing a familiar face."

I then heard faint footsteps behind me. Looking over my shoulder, I spotted four figures in fedoras partially covering their faces and trench-coats wrapped around their whole body. I narrowed my eyes and noticed a green scheme. I smiled. I already knew who these guys were, and I didn't hesitate to run to the tallest figure and hug tightly.
