After our conversation in the kitchen, Wulf said he had to go take care of pack business, and that my things would be in my room.
After sitting in the kitchen for a few mintues alone, I started to wonder what I should do. I figured I could just walk around for a little while. It shouldn't hurt anything, right? Plus if I was somewhere I shouldn't be, I'm sure someone would stop be with all of these people roaming around.
So I got up, and walked out of the room, to the living room. I found a big wooden brown door, and I exited the house. From what I'd seen of the house, it was pretty big. But looking at it from the outside- well, it looked monstrous.
"Hey! Luna!" A voice says, and I turn to see the handsome man from earlier. Ramon.
"Ramon?" I ask, my voice quiet as normal. At least I wasn't choking up like I did in front of Wulf. So I guess it was just him that had that effect on me. Well, now I knew never to be in a public area with Wulf. I'd likely embarrass myself.
"I feel honored," he says, a teasing smile on his face, "You remembered my name from just hearing it."
I look at him, confused, "Why wouldn't I?" He seemed close to Wulf, plus, I was very good with names and faces. It was one of my best traits.
He looks surprised, then his face morphs into an expression that you'd give a new born puppy, "Well, Pretty Luna, may I get your name?" He holds out his hands, throwing me a friendly wink, "It only seems fair, right? You know my name, and that leaves me at a disadvantage. So..?"
I smile brightly at him, I like him. He was funny. I grabbed his hand, "I'm Ariel. My friends call me A, though."
"Huh? Ariel? As in the Disney Princess?" He asks, and I nod, "Well, at least we know why he calls you princess." He chuckles and I smile again, he studies me, "You should smile more, Princess." He winks before turning around and looking at two people. One of them was Camelle, was was smiling at me slightly, the next was a man I didn't know, "You know Camelle. This is Jake."
Jake was actually very handsome. He was tall and muscular, with black jeans, a black shirt, and black leather jacket. He had a buzz cut, but he made it work. His smile was beautiful too.
"Princess Ariel." He says, and both boys laughs when I blush. Camelle rolls her eyes and playfully swats at Jake's arm. He laughs, "I'm sorry, but is it alright if I call you that? You look more like a princess than a fearless Luna anyway."
I nod, "It's alright. Compare to you guys, I'm this big." I say, putting my thumb and pointer finger together really close, "From what Wulf has told me, I'm terrified."
Jake and Ramon laugh, Camelle grins, "I can see you quaking in your shoes." She winks at me, and I smile.
"Well, these two have been told to keep any eye on you. Just to keep you out of trouble. Alpha's anxieties are getting to him, but," Ramon winks at me, "He'll eventually get used to having a mate." I nod, and Ramon takes off, saying he had things to take care of.
I was really starting to like it here. It appeared like a village was surrounded by the forest, and there was children running around everywhere, with their mothers' chasing them. The men were either talking with one of their friends, helping their wives, or walking somewhere with a purpose. I saw several over sized wolves walking around, and I watched as some of the children waved and called them 'dad.'
It was all so bizarre, but it was like I was used to it, somehow. I guess I was accepting the concept that the supernatural were real faster than I'd though I would.
"So where were you heading, Princess?" Camelle asks me, and I blush. She was calling me it too now. She grins at me when she sees my red face, and I hear Jake chuckle.
