"Ms. Anna," Sebastian's voice called through my deep trance of sleep. My eyes opened and there he stood, waiting at the bedroom door. I wiped away the sleep from my eyes and sat myself up against the pillow behind me.

"Yes Sebastian," I replied. Sebastian carried a shiny metal tray of food over to me and sat it down on my bed. I nodded in thanks.

"I did some digging last night, by order of my master."

"What does that have to do with me," I asked, it was something that I had always said, if it did no have anything to do to me then why should it bother me, in this world of demonic predators, why stick your nose somewhere it did not belong?

"Well the digging had to do with your family," he replied with annoyance in his voice. I was hesitant to answer him, what could he find that the detectives could not? I continued eating my bagel and let him finish. I gestured for him to go on. " I found no visible evidence, well none that a human could point out."

"What are you suggesting, something demonic did this," I clenched my fist around my napkin.

"Actually the opposite," Sebastian walked over to the closet and pulled out a lavender dress and hung it on my folded wall.

"Angelic," I joked and took another small bite of my bagel, I really wasn't hungry. Not when talking about my family, instead I felt as if I was on the verge of tears.

"Yes, they are called Reapers, they have a list called "The To Die List" they usually stay in one area, I assume that if we go back that you would attract his attention being as he mis-"

"No Sebastian, I cant go back there, not ever," I snapped. I looked down to my food. This was to much. I though of the mangled corpse of my mother that I held in my arms as I sat in a puddle of her blood, I screamed the loudest I ever had that night. I cried more tears, I believe there was more water there them in the Thames. How could I ever go back to that? How could I ever look at the house again. I pushed away my food.

"Mistress, I am sorry. I did not mean to just put all of this onto you so quickly. I understand that this will be hard for you. But this is the only way."

There was a long pause of silence. He was right. I just had to take it. No tears. I nodded to Sebastian.

"I'll go."

No! Mistress, no this is too dangerous.

I responded to Jonathan this time. I knew it was him.

When you left you made it very clear that you did not want any part of this, or me. Your opinion does not matter anymore.

"We will leave soon, I will send Mey-Rin to help you get ready," Sebastian replied and picked up the tray of food. Once he left tears clouded my eyes. I wiped them away and got up.

Ever since I passed the threshold of the Phantomhive mansion, my life has turned upside down. This was just supposed be a simple mission. I wondered what Mr. Edward was thinking about me not returning, did he care, did he get his shipment? I had lost Jonathan, or not, I was not sure, and now I was going to find out what murdered my family.

I bathed myself and by the time I was drying off, Mey-Rin was standing in my room ready to help me get dressed. She was quick with her hands. My dress and hair looked good and I was ready to go.  I left my room and Mey-Rin led me to the front door where Sebastian was waiting for me outside with a carriage. He helped me inside and came in after me.

"Where is Ciel," I asked, Sebastian closed the carriage door behind him.

"He requested that we go on without him. He did not want to distract me from protecting you if needed."

"Will it be needed?"

"Ms. Anna remember this, there is a reason you are alive-"

"Sebastian the reason I was not murdered along side my family, is because I snuck out, the reaper must have not realized-"

"Ms. Anna let me continue," Sebastian waited and I nodded sort of annoyed. "A reaper never leaves behind a victim, and he knows everything about each one of them, on a personal level. There has to be a reason he left you out, you will attract him to the area again, we will find out if it is even a reaper or what," Sebastian added.

He was right. We knew nothing yet, he did not even know for certain if it was a reaper or not. I was being too anxious. I must calm myself. I was with two injuries and there was too much stress.

"Relax Ms. Anna I know that you must be exhausted, just nap while we drive it will be a while till we reach our destination," Sebastian said. I nodded and took several deep breaths.

I did not sleep much. But it was nice to just be silent. It gave me plenty of time think about everything. Yet it did not last long enough, it never did.

"Ms. Anna we have arrived at your old home," Sebastian interrupted my thoughts. I snapped my head towards him.

"As ready as I could ever be."

Sebastian nodded and opened the carriage. Even embed ore he opened the door, I smelt I felt I saw and I heard all of my memories of my home. I saw the large old white house. Shutters handing by threads, paint peeling and all. No body had occupied the home since that night. Nobody wanted to.  Sebastian helped me out of the carriage and I stepped down onto overgrown grass. Flashes of that night went through my mind. It took every once of power I held to keep myself from breaking down. Sebastian led me into down an eroded sidewalk to the front steps that were cracked. One step was caved in. Another was completely broken off. He lifted me over the stairs and onto the porch right in front of the large French style door. The house was not like the Phantomhive mansion. It was not like a maze. It was simple, two stories and just enough to room for our family. All of us lived happily. Sebastian opened the front door and it swung widely with a loud creak. I jumped back two feet when I saw that a thing, I was not sure if it was a man or woman, stood with his back turned to me and Sebastian.

"Oh my", Sebastian muttered angrily.

The man/woman was talk with very long bright crimson red hair. He/she wore and ling Crimson coat and held a chainsaw at his side.

"Welcome home Anna." The reaper said.
