**Not Sure if anyone is even going to read this but here's my take on what could have happened had Gilmore Girls got another season. I'm 100% Team Jess and Team Luke and Lorelai, but I promise that there will be more to the story than just everyone getting their happy endings.

Lorelai's POV

I can't believe it's finally happening. Me and Luke! After Rory's going away party we decided to wait at least three months until we jumped back into our engagement, and last night, exactly three months after our kiss, Luke got down on one knee and before he even got a word out of his mouth I said 'Yes'.

Now all I've got to do is announce to the world that I am finally gonna get my happy ending. But first, that requires getting out of bed. Of course, Luke is already up and going on this Sunday morning.

I race to put pants and a non-see-through tee on so i can get my coffee fix in for the morning. Trust me, I will never make the mistake of running into the diner for coffee without pants ever again. That was a disaster. I run downstairs and almost knock Caesar down in my rush.

"Hey!"

"Sorry Caesar! Need Coffee!"

"Luke's doing inventory in the back." He tells me as he pours me a nice hot cup of freshly brewed coffee.

"Ah, just what I needed. Thanks Ceasar!" I say after I gulped the whole cup down.

I sneakily try to get into the inventory room to creep up on Luke.

"What the hell are you doing!" He annoyingly asked whenever he turned around to catch me about to pounce on him.

"I wanted to sneak up on my future husband! Is that too much to ask?"

"You know I love you, even whenever I don't understand you, right?" He asks amused as he steals a kiss

"I love you, even whenever you're cranky." I pronounce with a smile and another kiss

"Have you talked to Rory yet?"

"Not yet. I needed my coffee high first. Have you talked to Jess yet?"

"Nope, why do you think I'm doing inventory?"

"Ah 'come on Luke, you have to talk to him."

"I know, I just haven't seen or heard from him since I went to visit him in Philly. That was over a year ago Lore."

"Just call him. I'm sure he's going to love to hear from you."

"Yeah you're probably right."

"I'm always right." I say with a smirk. "I'm going to go talk to Rory, and you better call Jess, and then we shall announce our amazing news to the whole town." I plant one more kiss on his rugged cheek, and the I hustle back upstairs to get my cellphone.
