3. Parents

I ran into the woods, away from them and after I had ran for a while, I sat down with my back against a tree. Werewolves? I want to laugh in how ridiculous that is but somehow I can't. He fucking changed in front of me! He was a regular, naked, hot human and then... He was something else. A wolf. I saw his bones snap, fur growing on his body. I shivered just thinking about what I just saw.

I mean sure, I've thought about it before. Like when you watch Supernatural. What if it's true? What if witches exist? What if vampires exist? And now all of a sudden, it's real. Everything. The world is a crazy place, and it just got crazier.

I was interrupted by a twig snapping. My head moved towards the sound and I saw a large black wolf with green eyes. "Jaxon?" I asked almost scared. The wolf nodded and I couldn't help but let out a laugh. A wolf just nodded. This is bizarre.

He started to move forward me with cautious steps until he reached me. The wolf whined then laid down beside me with its head in my lap. I sighed then started to pet it. "I'm sorry I ran away" I mumbled slightly guilty. "It was just... kind of a lot to take in" I said gloomy.

The wolf sat up and nuzzled its head at my nape. I started to giggle again because its fur tickled against my skin. "Can you shift back?" I asked as I turned my head towards him. He did as I asked and soon Jaxon was standing there in all his nakedness. I blushed then stood up and took off my... well his shorts. "Here" I said as I gave them to him and he put them on. His t-shirt that I'm wearing ends at my mid-thigh, so it's not like he's going to see anything. I just felt that I needed to have some pants when we slept in the same bed in case the shirt was going to slip up.

I sat down against the tree again, followed by Jaxon and we sat there in silence until he decided to speak. "Are you okay?" He asked plainly.

I scoffed before answering. "No! Werewolves are real!" Jaxon chuckled and I turned to look at him annoyed as I rolled my eyes.

"Are Vampires real too? Witched?" I asked after a pause of silence and Jaxon nodded. "Oh..." I mumbled and then it became quiet again. "So... I'm your...Mate?" I asked as I turned to look at him. I didn't really noticed how close to me he sat before.

"Yes, you're my mate" He said grinning and moved slightly closer. Our shoulders met and I felt electric running through my body.

"What does that even mean? Who says that we are soulmates? I mean what if we don't get along. Maybe we don't." I started to ramble but Jaxon chuckled.

"We'll probably fight. Considering you're so stubborn" He said chuckling.

"Oh, I'm stubborn? You are annoying not me" I said crossing my arms against my chest annoyed and he chuckled again. "So... really what does this mean?" I don't know how I should handle this. I mean sure, a part of me likes him somehow but another part of me things this is the most ridiculous dream I have had.

"It means that you are going to stay here with me."

"What if I don't want to stay here with you" I asked and he growled angrily. "You need to understand how weird this is for me" I said calmly.

"Fine. But you still need to stay here otherwise you'll be in more danger." He answered after taking a deep breath.

"What do you mean danger?"

"I'm an Alpha, Luna. That means that I have a target on my back and because you are my mate, my Luna, you have too" He said sincere then took his hand and cupped my face. I leaned in to his touch, liking how my body tingled when he touches me.

"Fine I'll stay" I mumbled as I closed my eyes, enjoying his touch. "But what's an alpha?" I asked confused and opened my eyes again.

Jaxon kissed my lips quickly before answering and pulling away his hand. "The Alpha is the leader. The Luna is the alphas mate." He said chuckling at the last statement.
