Jaxon
"Dude, we can continue tomorrow." Colton complained as he paced back and forth in my office with an annoying look. "I'm starving, let's get something to eat in town"
I tried to ignore him and continue reading the business plan for a new investment but all I could hear was Colton's heavy feet stomping back and forth. "Would you stop pacing?!" I snapped. "You're giving me a headache" I complained quietly as I finally stacked the papers into a pile.
"I have a headache for not eating dinner" He complained as he crossed his arms over his chest and stopped pacing to stare at me.
"Stop complaining" I said with a flat and bored tone. "I'm ready now" I got up from the chair and headed towards the exit while Colton followed close behind after breathing out 'Finally' in content.
We entered my car and drove towards Fountain Valley as we talked about business. Avalon always complains saying that I have to loosen up and have fun. She says that I have to find my mate but believe me... I've tried damn hard to find her.
I've searched at the surrounding territories but came back without her in my arms. It pains me thinking she's nowhere to be found. Maybe she has found someone else she thinks she loves even if it's not her true mate, maybe she's hiding from me or maybe she's dead. All those speculations caused me to grip the steering wheel tighter in anger and my knuckles turned white from griping it too hard.
No... None of those are true.
Our paths haven't crossed yet, that's why.
One day... One day I will find her.
After parking the car at the nearby parking lot, we exited the car and locked it before heading towards the entrance of the café. Half way there however, my nostrils captured an amazing scent which caused my feet to stop in their tracks. I inhaled the mesmerizing scent which smells close to roses but much more sweet and alluring.
"Do you smell that?" I asked Colton mesmerized by the amazing scent that's captured my senses. My eyes traveled around me to see what the source is.
"What smell?" Colton asked confused.
Inhaling the sent, I followed it and was surprised when my feet stopped at the destination I was headed to in the beginning before I smelt the incredible scent. Slowly, I punched the door opened as Colton stared at the slow motion of my body and shocked expression as I walked inside the café.
My heart was beating rapidly – like an idiot who tries to fly from the roof by flapping their arms – as I thought about finally finding her. After such a long time of searching for her, is it possible that fate have finally brought us together?
The alluring scent was stronger than ever. My eyes scanned the crowd before settling on a beautiful blond haired girl. Her eyes was focused on her sandwich as she ate so I couldn't see her eyes clearly but even so, I knew that this... this beautiful girl was my mate.
I finally found her.
Her skin was pale, body petite but curvy with her perfect hips and breasts. When her eyes finally locked up, they immediately found my gaze and god... her eyes was just as beautiful as the rest of her. Her blue eyes with a hint of silver stared into my green ones and that's all we did for the longest time – stared at each other.
