Because of the fact that Nate and Aria lives in the same house as us, she arrived in our room only seconds after Jaxon had called for her. She mumbled "miscarriage" when she entered and both mine and Jaxon's eyes widened.
She told Jaxon to take me to the pack hospital before she hurried away herself to set things up for my arrival. Jaxon picked me up, one hand under my legs and the other at my back then hurried towards the hospital.
When we entered Jaxon was panting because he had ran as fast as he could. He set me down on the patient chair while Aria was mixing some herbs then gave it to me in a glass. The content was dark green, slimy and thick when I gulped it down my throat.
Aria pulled up my shirt, put the cold gel against my stomach then took the wand-like-thing and placed it on top. She looked at the video that appeared on the screen and sighted.
"Is everything okay?" Jaxon asked frantically as he held my hand in his.
I however was too afraid to speak or even think about what might have happened. I can't lose them.
I know that I always was afraid to have children but now when it's a reality I wouldn't have it any other way. I love them and they aren't even born yet.
"Your babies are fine" She reassured.
"A-are you s-sure" I stuttered weakly, my eyes watery.
"Your babies are strong" She reassured. "But because you are a werewolf-witch the pregnancy will be harder." She explained softly.
"What do you mean?" I asked confused as a tear escaped my eye.
Aria sighed sadly then sat down on a chair in front of Jaxon and me. "Like you probably know, children with werewolf and witch blood rarely survives" she explained. "Your babies have both werewolf and witch blood but their heart beats are strong." She continued on explaining as more tears rolled down my eyes. "Because Jaxon is a black wolf and they are stronger than other wolves, I believe that your babies have a fighting chance on surviving the birth."
"So, they're going to be okay? Right?" Jaxon questioned, worriedness written all over his face.
"It's not a certainty, but because you are a black wolf, and their heartbeats are still beating strong their survival rate is higher." She explained. "But I think we need to take some precautions."
"And what are they?" Jaxon asked as he raised my hand to his lips and kissed it softly.
I however was too stunned to say anything.
"I'm going to give you some herbs that will make your body and babies stronger." She said as she turned around and packed down some herbs into a bag then reached forward and gave them to Jaxon. "She needs to take these every morning. I'll write down the recipe." She explained softly. "I also think that you should be on bedrest."
"Anything to keep them safe" I said as I looked down at my just-little-noticeable baby bump. "Anything" I repeated.
"I must ask though, your body must have been under a lot of stress to cause this almost miscarriage. What was it?" She asked confused as she pulled down my shirt.
I sighed and put my hands against my baby bump before answering. "I dreamt of Damian" I said honestly. "That he was still alive" I continued as Jaxon squeezed my hand reassuringly.
Aria nodded in understanding to why I would feel stressed because of that bastard. "Try and keep calm, nothing stressful or a lot of actions until your babies have grown and become stronger"
