Reader's POV
Jaden wasn't at school, thank goodness. As expected, the day was much calmer.
And, I had another guy friend to talk to.
Ha, bet you thought it was willingly!
No, I honestly wanted nothing to do with the three new princes of the school. Except Akiza did. She'd fallen in love with Yusei, the man- I mean boy that had fixed her motorcycle. Seriously, though... is he really 16? He looks like he's 20.
Anyway, Akiza had been using me as a decoy to get close with her crush. Remember how I said I wanted nothing to do with those three? Well, I can't resist begging. Akiza had begged, plus she was my best friend.
So, after school, I approached the black haired ma-boy-thing while my rose-haired friend stayed behind the school, looking like a criminal.
"Yusei." I greeted with a bored tone. I didn't actually mean to do that, but he already turned around. Yusei greeted me with a smile that said "what's wrong".
"Homework." I lied. Well, half-lie. I'm pretty sure Alexis will help me with it and Tea will ask me if she can copy. He chuckled and replied, "Well, I'm sure you and your friends will help you. Speaking of, your pink-haired friend isn't here with you today?"

"Y/n, we have to go... Oh, hi Yusei!" Her cheerful meter was cranked up to 11 when she walked over to the both of us. Yusei flashed a smile at her, but it wasn't as genuine as it was with me. Wonder why that is.
"How's your Duel Runner, Akiza?" He asked. She smiled back, the pink evident on her cheeks. "She's doing fine! I'm just grateful that she was fixed. Thanks again."
"No problem. And 'she'? Did you give her a name?" His voice and face showed nothing but friendliness.
"Yup, I call her Rosaline!" She nodded, batting her eyelashes in a flirting attempt. I stole a glance at my wrist, knowing that there was no watch. Neither of them saw this.
After 6 minutes of motorcycle talk and me dozing off, Akiza finally pulled my hand and led me towards the front gate. "See you tomorrow, Yusei!" She waved.

Finally, it was Saturday.
I awaited Tea's "weekly call for help", like I do every Saturday. I'm starting to wonder if she really graduated from middle school.
Meanwhile, I awaited the (favorite microwaveable snack) that was heating up in my microwave. After all the crap that's happened this week, I could use a snack.
Why does all the crap get dumped on me sometimes?
My phone buzzed finally. I sighed, picking up the phone. "Hello?"
Alexis' voice responded instead. "Like, I've been trying to call you for hours! Like, O.M.G., how could you just blow me off like thaaat?" Looks like Airhead was in control today...
"What's wrong, Alexis?" I didn't expect this call.
"So, like, I went to the doctor, and I, like, was told that I need medicine for my 'split personalities'. Can you believe that, like, I hardly need medicine, it's like, something rare that I was, like, born with!" I listened to Airhead rant to me for a good six minutes about her trip to the doctor which went on to a story about how potatoes fell on her foot, then she switched her personality to Pompous Alexis, who told stories about how her 'castle' was invaded by 'evil knights' who wanted her 'gold'. This call lasted for about an hour. Our phone bill is going to go through the roof...
After the call ended, I instantly got a call from Akiza.
"What's up, Y/n?" I didn't have a chance to reply. "So, I actually got a call from Yusei!" I munched on the last of my (favorite microwaveable snack) while I listened to Akiza drag on about Yusei. How hot he is, what his favorite color is, everything. The worst part is, I knew all of these facts because I'm the one who asked him about these questions while she cowered behind the corner or the building. But, it was satisfying to hear her so happy. She's the first one in our group to ever have a crush on a boy.
After about thirteen minutes of "YuseiYuseiYusei", the conversation ended and I got the call I was waiting for.
"Y/n, send me a picture of your homework or help me with it, I don't care!" Tea begged from the other side of the line. I smiled to myself. "Yeah, sure..." I sighed.
I guess if my friends are happy, I'll put up with having the crap dumped on me.
