I saw the campus. It was absolutely amazing. The blue skies, the many different people walking around, and even the short cut grass. I continue walking until I'm stopped by a short young lady. "Are you apart of the summer math program," she asks.
"Is it obvious," I laugh. I hear her small laugh. "Just a little," she puts up her fingers, "I'm Hallie Taylor, the student director for the Harvard Math Program." "Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you were a student," I tell her. "It's fine, you'll need to check in over there and find your dorm room for the summer," she points in the direction I was supposed to be going and she leaves. I walk over to the check in desk, to this girl with red hair.
"What's your name," she asks off the bat. "Maureen Taylor," I inform her. She looks through the names until she pulls something out. "Aha, here you are. Here is your class schedule for the summer, your dorm room, and dorm key. Your dorm mate is already settle in," she hands me this whole pile of papers. I smile. "Thanks," I say.
I walk to Lionel Hall. It felt like a far walk but I didn't mind at all.
I finally reached it and unlocked the door. I see this girl with purple and blue hair. She had skinny jeans on and a band shirt. "Oh, hi, you must be my dorm mate," she finally turns around. "I'm Mo," I tell her. "I'm Alex," she smiles and winks. I laugh. "You here for the math program too," I ask. "No, science," she informs me. "I could've guessed that," I tell her. "Because of my hair," she laughs. I say exactly and laugh with her.
"I like yours too," she compliments my new black hair. "I think we are going to be good friends," i tell her as I settle my stuff on my bed.
I think I'm going to like it here.
