Chapter 12

Erica

I walked through the door to the house and was expecting Eric to be there his car was outside but I didn't see or hear him. Maybe he went with one of his frienda or the sluts he dates. Either way I didn't care it meant that I could go a little while longer without being hurt. I set my things down and went to the kitchen I was hungry I haven't eaten right in a while. I opened the fridge and as I was looking around I got a bad feeling. I heard the door to the basement open and then footsteps heading my way. I tried to think I was imagining it I couldn't take the beatings anymore. Then suddenly the fridge slammed shut I moved just in time before it slammed on my face. I looked up to see a smirking Eric. "So are you ready sis its time to do your job" he said as he yanked me by my arm to the basement. I begged and pleaded for him not to do this but he wouldnt listen. "Oh precious Erica you'll like this guy you've already given it to him so why not get paid for it" he said laughing and I knew deep down who he ment but I wouldn't let myself believe it. He threw me to the bed and chained me up when the man stepped into the light but for some reason I couldn't see his face it looked blurrybut I could see the tattoos clear as day. I knew those tattoos I kissed and bit them just last night while making love to Josh. But this couldn't be my Josh he wouldn't hurt me like this. Suddenly Eric was gone and I was left alone with this Josh wannabe and he was just staring at me then he lunged forward and ripped my clothes from my body making me scream out in pain and fear. He must not of liked that cause he smacked me across the face putting a finger to where his lips should be. I started crying and pleading "Josh why are you doing this I thought you loved me" I said and he laughed. As he entered me roughly I screamed.

"Nooooooo" she screamed bloody murder waking me up. "Erica baby wake up its a nightmare sweetie wake up" I said as I shook her and woke up with a jolt. "Josh?" She questioned. "I'm here sweetie I'm here it was nightmare" I said as she clutched to me and sobbed. "Do you want to talk about it" I said and she nodded slightly. "I was home again and it was kind of like what happened when Eric let that creep rap me but instead it was... it was... you" she said sobbing again. I clutched her closer "honey I would never do anything to you that you didn't want to do I promise I love you I never want to hurt you" I said and she sighed in content at my words still holdoing onto me for dear life. My mom and dad busted in my room "what happened are you ok we heard a scream" said my mom "she had a nightmare" said still holding her tight and slightly rocking. "Are you ok now sweetie" my mom asked as she reached out to wipe her tears away. Erica smiled and nodded. "How bout you two come down for some food and we'll talk about what's going to happen tommorow" said my mom. Her and dad headed out the room as Erica and I got out of bed. We headed down the stairs hand in hand and I kissed her lightly at the bottom. When we got to the kitchen my mom had gone all out on dinner. She made chicken, roasted potatoes, corn, and mac and cheese. I made Ericas plate for her along with mine and she grabbed the drinks. We sat down and everyone began eating. "So Erica we called and talked to your parents they understand why we want you here and they just want you to be safe so Josh and his dad will be going to get the rest of your stuff tommorow while you, me,and Sara have a girls day to get to know each other how does that sound" said my mother as she started clearing the table. "That sounds wonderful Mrs. Ramsay" said Erica smiling. My mom smiled at her "honey no need to call me Mrs. Ramsay you can call me momma Ramsay if you'd like that's what Matt, Mike, and Ian call me.
Erica smiled and nodded. "So what are we doing for our girks day" Erica asked. "I was thinking of a spa day getting our hair and nails done and just getting plain pampered" said my mom excitedly. "Um I domt have any money Eric kind of took everything our parents gave us" she said looking down. "Oh sweetie don't worry about that as you can see we do well for our selves not that I'm bragging we work hard for what we have but there is no need for you to worry about a silly thing like money" said my mom coming around to Erica and hugging her tight. "Your family now" she whispered in her ear which made Erica smile and tear up as she hugged my mom back. I smiled to and took a wuick picture of them getting a "hey" from both of them
I laughed and saved the picture. "Um could I bring my best friend Missy along before Josh came into my life she was all I had" said Erica shyly my mom smiled "of course you can sweetie I want to met the person who helped you through everything this far" said my mom. Erica smiled and leaned into me nuzzling her head under my chin. "Want to go watch a movie sweetie" I asked and she nodded. We went into the living room " go ahead and pic one baby" I said as I showed her our extinsive movie collection. Her eyes widened and she looked through them before finally picking one. "Really the little mermaid I forgot we even had this movie" I said. She giggled "it was what my mom would put on for me when ever I had a nigntmare" she said. I smi,ed and kissed the top of her head. "Go ahead and get comfortable baby" I said as I put the movie in. Just before the movie started my mom brought in a tray that had some soda and popcorn on it. "Thought you guys would like some movie snacks and oh here's your phine sweetie" she said as she sat the tray down and handed Erica her phone. "Thank you mom" I said. "We're gonna go to bed we have a big day tommorow love you to" she said and kissed both of our cheeks making Erica blush. We both said love yu back loud enough for my dad to hear as well and then we were left alone to cuddle n the couch. Erica took her phone out ot open a new text to Missy.

Lol its Joshs mom that's what she told me to call her so do you want to come its tommorow-E

With that she put her phone away and cuddled into me we sat and ate popcorn watching the movie and talking. After the little mermaid we put in Rock of Ages. We both drifted off to sleep during this movie though.
