Chapter 11

Erica

I woke up freaking out cause I heard someone come in the door. "Josh....Josh someone just came in the house" I whispered as I shook josh awake. "Its probably my parents" he said sleepily. "Josh their gonna catch us naked and in bed together" I said rushing to get my clothes together and on. He smiled and got up slowly pulling on a clean boxers and a pair of sweat pants. "Don't worry abput it babe I called and talked to them the other day and told them you were here I promise" he said as he gathered me into a hug. "I doubt they were expecting to come home and find me naked in your bed" I said. He laughed lightly. "Come on we'll go see if its them or Sara its Saturday so there's no school" he said taking my hand and leading me out of the room. We walked down to the kitchen where we heard noise at. "Hey mom" said Josh. The older lady turned around and smiled at Josh. "Hi sweetie thanks for not distroying the house. Who's this Joshy" she said gesturing for me to come forward. "This is Erica the girl I called and told you about" he said putting his arm around me. "Um also we're dating" he added. "Ohhh really well you are just as beautiful as Josh said you were sweetie" she said smiling at me and making me blush. "Thank you" I said. "And just so you know he told us about your problems at home with your brother please don't be mad at him for that I just wanted to let you know our home is your home. My baby here doesn't normally get to serious about hings unless he truely cares so he must truely care about you" she said. I smiled at her and hugged Joshs waist. "I really care about him to. We haven't known each other long but if feel like we've known each other for years if that makes sense" I said nervously smiling. "It does. Now do you have all your things here or just a few. Cause sweetie I understand your parents probably miss you but id feel better if you just stayed here with us till after school is done I don't want you being hurt anymore" she said.
I thought about it. "Um no I just grabbed a bag of clothes and my essentials from the bathroom" I said. She looked kind of suprised and it made me nervous. "Josh can I talk to you a moment" she said and he nodded giving me a small kiss on the cheek before they walked into the living room.

Josh

We got into the living room where dada was. "What's up mom" I said. "You didn't tell me she cut herself" she said. "Oh um...I wasn't sure how much I should tell you its not really my place but you know I'd never lie about someones saftey. She really is not safe at home" I said pleading with them to believe me. "I know sweetie but before we do this full on we need to know the whole story" she said. "I might be able to get her to open up a bit but not all the way not yet" I said as we all headed back to the kitchen. "Erica?" My mom said sounding like a question and I looked up to see she was sitting at the table with her knees to her chest having a panic attack. I ran to her "Erica sweetheart what's wrong what happened" I said getting scaried cause she was staring off into space like a zombie. "My...phone...Eric....he found me" she said slowly. I looked at her phone and it had a text from Eric.
Thought he could hide you at his house huh. I followed you back you little slut. You'll give it up to him for free but won't let me get paid for. No your mine to sell damn it I will get the both of you for this just wait and see-E
I gathered her in my arms. "Mom she's having a panic attack help please" I said almost in tears. My mom ran around and she found medicene that I use to take for panic attacks and told her to try and take one then told me to take her up and lay her down. I ran upstairs with my mom and dad right behind me. Instead of the guest room we went to my room where I knew she'd be mdore comfortable I laid her down and even though my parents were right there I laid with her still holding her. "I'm gomna grab a wet towel put it on her forhead" said my mom as she went into my bathroom then came back out with a wet towel amd placed it across her forhead. "We're going to get her parents number and call to let them know were coming to get her stuff she's moving in here for good" said my dad as he went back down to get her phone. "I promise we'll help protect her baby the medicene should kick in soon" said my mom as she kissed my head and left the room.
It took about a half hour and the medicene must have kicked in cause Erica calmed down and fell asleep. I gently pulled my arms from around her and covered her up. I kissed the top of her head and went down to find my parents. "She's sleeping" I said as I walked into the living room to find my mom dad and Sara sitting there. "Josh honey why didn't you tell us it was this bad" said my mom holding Ericas phone. "You went through her phone she's gonna hate me now" I said. "It was still on the text from this Eric person when your dad went to find the number for her parents" she said. "I just recently found everything out" I said looking down. "Who is Eric and why did you fight him yesturday" asked my dad. Damn it Sara blabber mouth I thought before I sat down next to her. "He's Ericas twin and he's the one that's been hurting her he's the reason she cuts and he threatened her at school yesturday and she didn't want me to get suspended so I fought him at the park instead I controlled myself. I could have snapped his arm in half at the end of the fight but I didnt" I said looking between my mom and dad. "Sara was there she seen I controlled my anger and I did it for Erica" I said and Sara nodded. "He did he could have seriously hurt Eric but he didn't" she said putting an arm over my shoulders. "Ok well we called her parents and they've accepted that Erica is going to be here from now on they want her safe so we are going tommorow to pick up her stuff" said my mom and I smiled. I gave her and my dad hugs before running back up to Erica.
