Hey, i'm back met een nieuw kort verhaal! Ik heb dit moeten schrijven voor Engels op school dus het verhaal is ook in 't Engels. Het is de eerste keer dat ik 'horror' schrijf dus ik wilde 'm publiceren voor y'all :)

Isobel

Today didn't feel right. Something was out of place, but Isobel couldn't figure out what exactly. Her day started with no indifferences from other days. Her trip to school was nothing unusual, and her first three classes of the day were just as boring as normal. But there was still a sick feeling in her gut that something was wrong. Not only did she have the gut feeling all day, she also felt kind of sick, but in a weird way. She wasn't nauseous, nor did she have a headache or a stomachache.  She felt as if she wasn't herself. As if "Isobel" left the body, and something, or someone else, took place in it. It didn't feel like it was her body, and it scared Isobel.

When the bell rang, indicating that their third class was over, Isobel packed her bag and was the first to walk out of the classroom, with a slight frown on her face. It really bothered her that she couldn't lay her finger on what was going on. The strange thing was that even if Isobel tried to let it go, it wouldn't leave her mind. It was almost as if she couldn't control her own body.

Isobel gripped the straps of her book bag tighter and forced herself to look up, only to find out that she was in the wrong side of the school. She had English right now, which was on the first floor. She now was on the upper floor of the school; the one students weren't allowed to be. Only the janitors came here once in a while to clean. It used to be in use for the upper classes of high school three years ago, but when a fire broke out in the lab, they all got transferred a floor lower. Ever since then, nobody used this floor.

Isobel didn't realize she was still walking until she came to a halt in front of the girls' restrooms. She furrowed her brows. She hadn't felt her legs moving, nor did she have wanted them to move: her legs just did. Everything really started to creep her out.  It just didn't make sense.

Through the little window in the door she could vaguely make out some washbasins. They used to be white, but had now a greenish color. The floor did too. The doors to the toilet cubicles had the same kind of color; only the one closest to the door she was standing behind had some red stains on it. She didn't want to think about what that could be and whispered to her self with confusion and fear.

"Why am I here?" Isobel shook her head and was about to turn around and walk away when a voice stopped her. The voice brought goose bumps all over her body and she tensed up, freaked out by this voice.

"Because I brought you here."

It was nothing more than a very soft and low whisper, extremely close by her ear. Isobel hastily turned her head to see where it was coming from but found nothing but darkness. She could see nothing, except for some kind of green smoke, which the whole upper floor was filled with. Where did that come from?

Isobel spoke up, her voice so small of the terror she felt. "Who's there?" She heard the fear in her own shaking voice.

Isobel's breath hitched in her throat when the voice spoke up again, this time so close she could feel the cold breath hitting the back of her neck. She also felt a presence, but was too scared to turn around. An ice-cold finger traced from her wrist to where her neck and shoulder met. Isobel couldn't stop trembling and a single tear made its way down her cheek.

"Someone that wants you...'

Before the tear could land on the floor it got caught in a hand that appeared out of nowhere. Isobel gasped for air when she saw the hand. It was paler than milk and was covered in black scars. Isobel could feel her heart thumping so loud she was afraid it might explode when the hand slowly opened and revealed many red stains; blood. Isobel was breathing heavily and her heart stopped when the voice spoke again.
