Piero's POV
I watched Rebekah during the whole interview. She was calm and kind on the outside, but I knew she was nervous about being on a interview. I was big on how "the public doesn't need to get into our personal life's" so she's not used to being in the spotlight. I must have zoned out, because before I knew it the audience was clapping and we were walking backstage.
"You guys did amazing! Thanks for being on our show! The electricity between you two is strong!" The girl that interviewed us said.
We both smiled and walked to our dressing rooms. As Rebekah went into her room, I noticed a girl was staring at her, fury clear on her face. I shook my head and walked next door to my room. It was probably all in my head.
Rebekah's POV
I was so happy when Piero left me alone in my room. Finally, I feel like I could hyperventilate. Maybe I just need some fresh air. I grabbed my wrap and walked outside the studio. It was extremely cold outside. As I walked down the alleyway I heard someone behind me. I glanced behind me kept walking, this time a little faster. The footsteps got louder and louder. As I rounded the corner I ripped off my shoes and started to run. Someone was obviously after me. I heard a laugh erupt from behind me.
"You can't hide forever, my princess." A low voice said.
I spun around. That nickname, that voice... it could only be one guy.
"Aaron?"
He chuckled.
"Good job, princess."
He walked closer until he was only five feet away. I took a deep breath.
"What do you want?" I asked, trying to keep my voice strong.
"You."
He ran to me and grabbed my waist, pulling me to the cold brick wall behind me. I struggled underneath him.
"Please let me go!" I pleaded.
Aaron is very strong. Way to strong for me. He bent his head down and got close to my neck. His breath was harsh and smelled of whiskey. I wiggled out of his grasp.
"You're drunk Aaron. Go home. I'll see you later, when you're sober."
I turned and started walking up the street. I heard a click of a gun behind me. I froze.
"Rebekah, turn around. Turn around and look me in the eye."
I turned to see a gun pressed against Aaron's forehead.
"Aaron, put the gun down. I'll do whatever you want but just please put the gun down."
I took a step towards him.
"Don't come closer! I'll shoot!" He cried.
"Aaron. It's okay. Listen to my voice. You're just drunk. Tonight you'll go home and sleep it off and it will all be okay."
A tear escaped his eye.
"You're right. None of it will matter tomorrow..."
I breathed a sigh of relief as he lowered the gun.
"... because no one would care about me!"
He pulled the trigger.
My scream ripped from my mouth before I could even think.
