The whole Saturday was amusing.

Dallon took Kaitlyn out to a park on the edge of town, where they trailed around for hours. There was barely any talking, but both of them still had great fun nonetheless. Dallon had never felt more alive than he had with Kaitlyn, and she could say the very same about him.

But the next day was Sunday.

And that Sunday morning was killing.

Kaitlyn's roommate had let Dallon in, and as he walked to Kaitlyn's room, he stopped in the doorway when he saw Kaitlyn sitting at her vanity mirror with a close eye on herself. When asked what she was doing, Kaitlyn hastily got up and walked to Dallon, embracing him in a hug like everything was fine. As if she wasn't just peculiarly watching herself in the mirror.

But the day was short.

And so was the night.

By the time Kaitlyn and Dallon were actually able to sit down in the middle of a restaurant, they'd realized that dawn had already broken. Kaitlyn was sad of course, she didn't want her Sunday to be over. The weekend was short, for all the fun that she was having with Dallon seemed to quicken the pace of time.

But eventually it had to end.

And the next day was rather eventful.
