I woke up for real a few hours later. I played around on my phone, scrolling through my Instagram and Twitter feed, then realizing I hadn't text Andrew at all.

I quickly composed a text.

Me
Hey, Andrew. I spent
the day settling in.
Ashton's son, Brooklyn
is uber hot and dreamy. Not
that you probably care,
I'm just putting it out there.
Hope things are well back
home. Love you.

Andrew instantly responded, despite our time difference.

Andrew
Can you talk on
the phone right
now?

I immediately clicked the call button and it started ringing. He picked up quickly.

"Tell me about the hot guy," said a voice I wasn't expecting to hear.

"Alison," I laughed. "How are you?"

"I'm good. We're all good. It's boring here without you. Now, tell me about the hot guy," Alison rambled.

"Put her on speaker," I barely heard Andrew say in the background.

"Hi, Indi," Andrew said.

"Hey,"

"Hot guy," a new voice reminded me. Kayla was with them, too.

I whispered because I didn't want anyone to hear. I didn't know how sound proof the walls and doors were.

"He's Ashton's son, Brooklyn."

"His name sounds hot," Kayla spoke.

"He has dirty blonde, curly hair and the most tan skin I've ever seen, but he pulls it off," I continued to whisper. "He walks around without a shirt on all the time and it's fine because he has a six pack and really built up arms. But yesterday, I did the most awkward thing ever. I reached out to touch his chest."

"Weird," Andrew agreed.

"How'd he react to that? Did he kiss you, yet?" a curious Alison poked

"He recoiled instantly and left the room. But then we talked in the kitchen earlier this morning and pretended like it never happened. So, it's all good."

"Send pictures!" Kayla demanded.

"Kayla, I can't just take a picture of him," I laughed.

"Of course you can," Alison agreed.

"Kiss him already," Andrew said, totally unlike himself. He was never much into romance and all that gooey stuff.

We all laughed. "All with time," I said as a knock was heard on my side of the line.

I turned to see my bedroom door open and Ashton and my dad walk in.

"Oh, sorry. We didn't realize you were on the phone," my dad spoke first.

"It's okay," I smiled.
