My dad paused right in the threshold of the door as he heard Brooklyn's statement.

My dad says nothing, but the drunken Michael does, "How adorable! I always thought that it would be your father's dating. Fans even had a ship name- Lashton, I believe. So, cute. It didn't work out, but you two are just as cute-"

I have a feeling Michael would have continued had Calum not interrupted, "No fucking in the house."

"No fucking at all," Ashton speaks for the first time.

"Indigo, you have a boyfriend?" my dad finally speaks.

I look over at Brooklyn and grab his hand that isn't holding the already half eaten pizza. "Yeah, Dad, but he's not just any boy. He's Brooklyn."

"I see," my dad says as he walks towards the pizza box.

Silence fills the kitchen and I feel my heart speeding up. Why is this so weird to everyone? Brooklyn has had girlfriends in the past and I've had tons of boyfriends.

"Is that okay?" I ask the group of men.

"Yeah, bro," Michael says.

"Of course," Ashton smiles. "Someone to keep the loser in line."

"Yeah, that's good," my dad said, biting into his pizza

"Are you sure dad?"

"I'm sure, Indi. You two will be good for each other, a reminder of home."

"That's all?" I ask surprised at the simplicity of it all.

"Well, what else do you want me to say? Were you wanting Ashton and I to give you two the talk?" my dad says as he raises an eyebrow in question.

"Hell no," Brooklyn says as he goes for his second slice of pizza.

"I would never have premarital sex," I tell my dad.

"Really?" Brooklyn asks in disappointment.

I nod.

"Not even if we date for years?" Brooklyn continues.

"She said no sex," my dad grumbles.

"Okayyyyy," I say awkwardly.

I grab a new slice of pizza because Brooklyn stole my last one.

"I'm going to go take a shower," my dad says and heads for the bathroom.

"You two seriously not have sex?" Calum asks once we hear the bathroom lock.

"What's your definition of abstinence?" Brooklyn asks me.

I give him a confused look.

"No v in the d?" Brooklyn offers.

I nod.

"Then yeah, I think I can do this whole no premarital sex thing," Brooklyn says as he winks at the boys.

Michael gives him a thumbs up and Calum shakes his head, Ashton rolling his eyes.
