I finally decided that Brooklyn would be played by Evan Peters because 😍.

By Monday morning at 8:00, Brooklyn and I had helped each others pick out outfits for our interview.

He was wearing tan/off-white colored slacks and a dark blue button-down.

I wore a pair of white skinny jeans and navy blue stilettos with a matching blazer and grey top.

I went into the bathroom to change and do my makeup. I came back up to my room and found him sitting on my bed.

"Indi," he said.

"Yeah?" I asked as I combed through my hair at my vanity.

"Are we ever going to talk about that kiss earlier this week?"

"What kiss?" I sat down on the chair in front of my vanity. I pretended to busy myself with my hair and even sprayed a bit of perfume.

"Come on, Indi. You remember," he said getting up off of my bed.

"Um," I lied, feeling my cheeks turning red as I looked down at my hands and studied my nails. The black nail polish was chipping away.

He was behind me now and I turned myself around on the round-backless chair.

"It went a little something like this," he whispered and lifted up my chin, then cupping my cheek.

He leaned in and crashed our lips together. It felt urgent, but not rough. He was strong, but not demanding.

Our lips moved in sink together until he bit my lip and I gasped in shock, allowing his sneaky little tongue to slip through. Damn him.

We continued to make out for a while longer until I placed my hand on his firm chest, urging him to stop.

"Brooklyn," I gasped as I caught my breath.

"Indigo," he mocked, licking his lip and smirking.

I laughed at the goofball. "We should get going to our interview."

"Yeah," he agreed.

"I think you two would be a perfect addition to my record store," Hadley remarked as we sat in the back room that she said was the break room. Our interview was coming to an end.

"We would love to work here," I spoke for Brooklyn and I.

"Though, I am worried about one thing," she said.

"And what could that be?" Brooklyn asked.

"I'm worried that you two won't get much done when you're fooling around constantly."

"What makes you think we would be fooling around?" I asked, concerned about the stability of her offer.

"You clearly have feelings for each other and I have a no fucking in the store policy," Hadley explained nonchalantly.

My jaw fell and my face warmed. Brooklyn was laughing beside me. I slapped his arm in a warning demeanor. His laugh slowed.

"We would never even think about doing so," Brooklyn said clearing his throat.

"We're not even together," I reminded her.

She raised her eyebrow, as if considering the truth of our statements. "Mhm," she nodded, her eyes staring into mine, like she could sense that Brooklyn and I had actually kissed. "Well, either way, you can start on Friday."

"Thank you," I smiled.

"Yes, thank you, Hadley," Brooklyn seconded.

We rode from the chairs and headed towards the exit. "We'll see you then," I said as I shook Hadley's hand.
