Saying goodbye to yesterday
It was such a sunny day
I wished the rain away
So that in the meadow
We could dance fast or slow
When we decided to play.
Saying hello to tomorrow
Chasing away any hint of sorrow.
I begged, stole and borrow,
To bring a happy smile
That will arrive in a very short while.
Saying hello to the now
That has been heaven sent.
O joy O bliss
What a sweet and succulent kiss.
Cherry sweet ecstasy that I cannot resist.
