Daryl's pov

Daryl wasn't sure Amber is working out.  She was a great secretary, but the problem was she was constantly flirting with the guys in the shop and most of the male customers.  And she flirted with him nonstop, even though he made it clear he wasn't interested.  Sure, she was attractive.  But he was married and he loved Beth. And when he said he'd always be faithful to Beth, he meant it.

"Ya better watch out for that one, baby brother," Merle said.

"Huh?" Daryl asked, looking up from his desk.

"That girl's after ya hardcore," Merle said.

"She's just a flirt," Daryl replied.

"Yeah," Merle said. "She flirts with the other bozos out there. But she wants you to bang the shit outta her."

"Doesn't matter if she wants that, it ain't gonna happen," Daryl snapped.

"Ya say that now. But what happens when yer here after hours and she starts rubbin' against ya?" Merle said.

"I'd tell her to pack up her shit and never come back," Daryl said.

"Good answer," Merle said with a grin.

Merle walked out of the office and not to long after Amber walked in.

"Ya know, Daryl," she said, starting to undo the buttons on her blouse. "I want you. And I can tell by the way ya look at me that you want me too."

She threw her blouse on the floor and then took off her bra, exposing her breasts to him.

Daryl couldn't speak. He was in shock. Deep down, he really thought it was innocent flirting. He didn't believe Merle was right and now he knows he was.

When her skirt and thong underwear were next to her blouse and bra on the floor leaving her only in her sky-high stilettos, Daryl finally found his voice.

"Get dressed, pack up yer stuff and don't come back," Daryl said in a low voice. He was beyond livid.

Suddenly the office door swung open.

"Daryl, I brought...OH MY GOD!!!" Beth exclaimed, dropping the picnic basket and trying to cover Amelia and Matty's eyes. "Amelia, take Matty and go visit with Uncle Merle."

After the kids were out of the room, Beth shut the door so they wouldn't hear anything.

"Beth, it ain't what it looks like!" Daryl shouted.  "This slut took it upon herself to come in my office and strip down. I just fired her."

"Don't lie to yer wife, Daryl," Amber purred. "You know damn well you've been fucking me all along and have been loving every minute of it."

Beth pov

Beth didn't know what to believe. She was crushed, walking into that. But something didn't fit. One, Daryl had all his clothes on and wasn't anywhere near Amber. He also looked like he didn't want to be anywhere near her either.

Beth needed proof that she was lying. She had a feeling that Amber was lying, but she needed proof.

"Ok, well what is on Daryl's back?" Beth asked.

"Tattoos," Amber said flippantly.

"What else?" Beth asked.

"What else could there be?" Amber asked snottily.

"O-kay," Beth replied, knowing she was a lying sack of shit now, but she decided to try to get her further. "What is the tattoo of?"

"A dragon," Amber replied flustered.

"Nope," Beth said. "Now get yer lyin' slutty ass outta here and never come back!"

Amber scrambled to get dressed, grabbed her shit and never came back.

Daryl's pov

"Sorry you had ta see that," Daryl said.

"Well, it wasn't the most pleasant experience to come in yer office and see...That," Beth said. "But I knew she was lying. If not for the fact that she was totally wrong about the tattoos on yer back, she didn't mention the scars. I didn't want to mention them, because that's a secret. But being she tried to say she had seen yer back by saying you had tattoos on them, when she didn't mention the scars I knew she was lyin'. But I have just come to a decision."

"What?" Daryl asked, worried.

"Maggie's gonna watch the kids during the day and I'm gonna be yer secretary again," Beth said.

"Yer the only secretary that I wanna fuck," Daryl said, taking her in his arms and kissing her.

Beth kissed him back and asked, "So I can come in here and strip down?"

"Anytime ya want, baby," Daryl whispered in her ear and then sucked on her earlobe.
