Chapter 19

It's now summer. I have graduated high school. I'm not going to college. I got a higher position in panera. I'm a trainer for all paneras now. I have a girlfriend. My life is so happy right now. It's fourth of July and we are going to the park with my parents and surprisedly Kat is coming too. I forgot that Kat is vegetarian and my parents didn't do any chicken so I'm going to the store and buy chicken patties for Kat. I pick her up so then we can go strait from my house to the park. We are on our way to the park. I'm sitting in the middle and Kat is to my right and my brother to the left. Kat put her head in my shoulder and she's sleeping. I put my head in her head and I felt so happy. I felt a sleep. "We are here" said my brother. The park is pack but we don't care we are going to stay here anyways. We walk up the hill and we found an empty table. "Here is perfect" said my mom. We drop off everything we had and my dad turn the grill on. I put the hammock so I can take another nap. It's 8 am and it's to early to do anything anyways. It's now 11 am. "I for got something in the car" I say. I started walking and so did Kat. "Do you think the car will shake" said Kat. "If we go slow it wont" I say. 40 minutes later we started walking to where my parents where. "Why did you take so long" said my mom. "Because we went to the bathroom and you know does line" I say. "I know" said my mom. The food is almost ready. We have to wait still 12 to eat. It's 12 now and we are about to eat. We ate. Now we are bored. I lay down on the hammock. I'm about to fall a sleep when I feel someone laying here and it was Kat. "Do you guys want to go to the beach" said my mom. "No, I don't want to go but I don't know about Kat" I say. "No, I'm good" said Kat. "Ok, we will be back" said my mom. Kat fell a sleep but she fell a sleep on my hand and my hand fell a sleep but I didn't fall a sleep so I was very uncomfortable but I didn't want to wake her up. It's been an hour and I can't move my hand. I feel so happy that Kat is here and that she's sleeping in my arms. I wish it can be like this for the rest of my life. I move my hand a little and Kat jump and got scared. "I'm sorry I didn't want to wake you up" when Kat interrupted me. "Well you did but it's fine, I slept very good" said Kat. I smile and close my eyes. Kat move and she took off her skirt. Then we both are sleeping. I heard my mom voice in my sleep but woke up to realizing that they where back. I didn't realize that Kat had taken her skirt off and she only had her swim suit on, so it was awkward when my family came over but she try to play it off but it was kind of obvious. It's now four and we have to go home because we are bored here. We pack everything and went to to car. "It hurts" said Kat in my ear. I smile. "Don't be stupid" said Kat. "I'm being serious" said Kat. "I know but I don't know why it hurt's" I said. She lay her head in my shoulder. I didn't fall a sleep and neither did Kat. "We are going to party would you like to come Kat" said my mom out of no where. It was a good thing she broke the silence. "No, I'm sorry, I'm already invited to one" said Kat. I knew she lie but I think her mom didn't want to let us go out. "I'm sure yours will be more fun then mine" I said to Kat. "I know you know I'm lying so stop it please" said Kat in my hear. I stood in silence. We are in front of Kat House. She went inside her house. Two weeks has passed and Kat ask me to come to her house. Its Wednesday and thank god I'm off. "Remember when you went on ur senior boat trip" said Kat. "I will never for get that day" I say. "Yes, I know, because they told me you where dancing with a girl" said Kat. "This happen more then two months ago, but yea I did dance with like four girls not just one and yea one of them was Vane" I said. "I know said" said Kat. "I'm not mad, I'm glad you had fun" said Kat. "Oh, you know I always have fun" I said. "Let's go to the back yard" said Kat. We got up and went out side. Kat little cousin show up to back. She came and gave me a hug. "You can kiss him in the lips" said Kat. I stop her right before she did. "I'm sorry but there is only one women I kiss" I said to the little girl which her name is Bianca. "Can I just kiss you once" said Bianca. "I like kissing boys" said Bianca. "It's true, she kisses my dad in the lip" said Kat. "No, I'm sorry, you can't" I said. "But maybe next time because it seems like my girlfriend does not defend me at all" I said to Bianca with a smile. I felt my shirt been pull and I look and it's Kat pulling my shirt. "I defend you from my mom every single day and from does whores" said Kat really angry. "It was a joke" I said. "Don't ever say that again" said Kat. We went back inside because  I was going home and I need to say good bye. "We are going to the city on Friday and We where wondering if you wanted to come with us" said Kat mom. "I'm working but I'll call out and spend the day with you guy's" I said. I was excited to spend a day with Kat. Even better that her mom ask. I'm wondering if she's planning something bad or good. It's Friday and they are picking me up at at 8 am and it's 6 am. I want to be ready when they come so they are not waiting for me. It's 7 am and now I'm bored waiting for them. "Hey, I feel sick today, my stomach hurt's so much and I can't take the pain and I couldn't sleep at all" I said to my manager over the phone. "Don't worry, if you are calling out is because you need it so you have the day off and enjoy it because I know you are not sick" said my manager. I was surprised that my manager had said that but it's better and I guess it's because I don't really call out. It's 7 45 am when I saw Kat texted me and she said she was outside. Its a good thing I was ready before they came. I ate because I was not sure what we where doing. I got in the car really nervous. I'm not sure what to think, what to say. Am I going to ruin everything even more with Kat's mom. Would I be able to make her like me or not hate me. I got to put that a side because this is the first time I hang out with Kat parents. we got to the city and we are in front of a building. I don't know why we are here but I guess I have to go and figure it out. We park next to a construction building and right to it is a hotel and dorms. we started to walk inside the hotel. the manager knew Kat dad which he's working on expending the hotel so he's going to gives us a tour of the hotel. we went through all the rooms and it's a really big place after  3 hours of seen the rooms we got to the roof. I open my mouth and I stare to the wonderful view. I look at Kat. "This is the second most prettiest thing I ever seen" I said to Kat. She look confuse. "what is the first thing" she ask. "Really, I thought it was obvious that is you" I said with a serious face. "Let's take a picture so I will for ever keep it and remember this day" I said to Kat. "I'll take the picture" said Kat mom. I'm surprised but I don't want to show it because I don't want to ruin this moment. "I'm so happy" I whisper to Kat ear. After an hour of been in the roof we are living. "I'm hungry" said Kat. As we are walking towards the car. "There's a Starbucks across the street" said Kat dad. We are going to Starbucks. I order and so they did. I took out my wallet to pay. I thought it was the right thing to do. "No, thank you, I'm going to pay" said Kat dad. "No, I got it" I said. I tried giving the card to the cashier but she took Kat dad card. I just smile. "Thank you" I said. We started walking back to the car. "Would you like to go to our house or your house?" Said Kat mom. "I would like to go to your house" I reply. We got to Kat house. I went upstairs and we started watching a movie. "The food is ready" said Kat mom. She cook chicken, rice, noodle, and bread. "Thank you, it's so delicious" I said to Kat's mom smiling. We went back upstairs to finish the movie. "We are going camping" said Kat. "That's cool" I said. "when I say we it's my mom, dad, my sister, my grandma, nephew, brother in law, you and me and my step sister" said Kat. "I'm sorry, I don't think I can go" I said to Kat. she look sad. Have I ruin this wonderful day? in just one word.
