If you guys don't know already, I'm Canadian. Well, Chinese-Canadian. CC. Hey, those are my initials!
Anyway, that was my lame attempt at a joke. Back on track. In Canada, it's almost winter. Probably my favorite season of the year [I detest summer with a fiery rage]. You know those stereotypes about Canada always being stuck in winter? That's a lie, and if you don't know that then you need to learn about us. It was surprisingly cold today though. I went for a walk [as I do everyday], and the wind was really strong. I felt like I was being slapped in the face. In fact, I stopped halfway and went home. My hands felt like ice. I hope the weather warms up soon though, I wouldn't want Halloween to have such freezing weather. That would ruin my costume. Also, I'd probably have to be thawed by the time I come back from getting my candy [yes, at my age I still trick-or-treat. Candy is candy, yo]. I think it might snow early this year, so let's all hope for a white Christmas, alright? Well, not that I really celebrate Christmas, but it's a festive time, so let's enjoy it anyway. Another thing about the cold is that I walk home. The weather was really cold today, so I hope that doesn't continue. Walking would be a complete pain. Better than shivering on the sidewalk waiting for the bus though. Seriously, the buses around my area are crazy. There could be like seven buses coming after each other and they'd all be full. I'm serious, it's happened to my underclassmen before. I walked that day, so I was good. But once, after one of my clubs last year, I was waiting for the bus to arrive, right? So, like, four buses come by and they're all full, despite it being pretty late. And I wait for about forty minutes for another one. It's cold outside [this was near winter], I was hungry, and the coffee shop near me looked pretty tempting. My friend and I sent one of our other friends to buy us bagels [we gave him the money], while we waited for the bus. He took so long though, which confused me. I mean, how long could one bagel take? The shop wasn't even full, it was empty. Anyway, while he's in there, a few minutes later, the bus comes. Being the terrible people we were, we got into the bus and left him. I know, it was bad, but I was cold. As the diva I am, I will always put myself before others.
Well, he wasn't angry, so I guess that was good. And it turns out he took so long because he bought three bagels, not one. He also got free food out of the deal, so he forgave us for ditching him last minute. I have to admit, though I did feel a little bit guilty, I didn't regret leaving. I'm sorry, but this is the type of person I am.
Now that winter's approaching with an alarming speed, let's all remember to bundle up, alright? I want to see jackets on you people! Make sure to stay warm. I wouldn't want anyone to catch a cold, right?
Lovingly,
Charlotte.
