Bomb

I was sixteen when the bomb hit. I still remember what I was doing. Texting. A wave of radiation slammed into me and I was knocked out. I don't know what else happened to me, but huge waves of radiation spread around the United States. It was so much stronger than anything anyone had ever built. Almost immediately after it stopped, tons of people in radiation suits came in helicopters. They were Chinese. China sent a bunch of people to help anyone who survived.

There were ten of us.

Ten in millioms.

I don't remember anything before waking up in a hospital seven days later, missing all my hair and feeling like a train that just got stomped on by a dinosaur.

They told us a missile was launched from space. They blamed it on aliens. No one in Canada or Mexico was harmed. Hawaii and Alaska also missed the attack. Our grand United States is now two states and a country of poisoned land.
