Summary

She was a loner, a runaway, a rogue. He was an ex-gang member, a criminal.

Their paths cross in the most unlikely place: Harriet Town, Nevada. Her bus broke down, and his new foster parents made him get a job. She walked into the diner and saw the out-of-place tattoos and piercings. A conversation sparks something in both of them and they begin to cross paths again and again by coincidence.

It seems fate has chosen one for the other, but that may not be what these two want. She doesn't want to make long-lasting relationships with anyone; that's how it's always been. He doesn't want to open up to anyone; that's how it's always been.

How it's always been needs to change sometimes, but if they wait long enough, it may be too late to change anything.

Basically, they would fall in love, duh. And then they live happily ever after.

I had the idea for this last night, but I know I'll never write it.
