(Summary)
We fight destiny all our lives. Somehow, everyone knows everyone's destiny but their own. There are punishments for telling. There are punishments for influencing.
I knew Cacey's destiny was to be publicly executed, but I didn't know it would be for telling me my destiny. Knowing my destiny sends me on the run, not even able to watch my best friend get shot in the head in front of everyone.
In seventy days, I will die in the room of the Destiny Writer. But I will make an impact no one can reverse.
Instead of running from my destiny, I turn straight toward it.
***
I just had this idea. And then maybe in the end, the main character dies, but maybe she doesn't.... Maybe... she destroys the Destiny Writer (whatever it is)... Maybe she prevents her own destiny by doing so... Maybe she dies while destroying it... Even I wouldn't know until I reached the end of the book.
Except I'm not going to write it. I would love to read this though! If you want to write this, be my guest and be sure to tell me!
