Third Person POV

Katherine watched in shock as the only person she ever truly cared and loved for drop to the floor with a hole in her chest. She was frozen as she looked at the blonde original who held her lover's heart in her hand.

Damon's eyes glazed over. Katherine grabbed Damon and dunked his head in the vervain water filled fish tank. she grabbed the chest that had to fake cure and through it in Rebekah's direction and using that moment to pick up Natalie's body and run with it.

Tears slowly began to stream down her face and she's not one to cry. She managed to open the trunk to her car and put Natalie's now desiccated body inside. She slammed it shut. She placed her hands on top of the car and leaned it to it, attempting to hold back her tears. She released a small cry.

She stood up straight and wiped her eyes getting into the car.

Katherine's flashback

Katherine Natalie were cuddled up in the bed together. Katherine was lightly stroking Natalie's brown hair.

"I love you." Natalie confessed. Katherine lightly smiled at the woman in her arms.

"I love you too." She responded which made Natalie smile. She kissed her temple.

"Katerina?" Natalie says quietly.

"Hm?" She continued to stroke her hair.

"Promise me something."

"Anything." She whispered.

"If it come to it and our plan fails and say I end up dying, I want you to continue it without me. I don't want you to worry about me I just want you to have your freedom."

"Where is tis all coming from?" Katherine questioned her but all Natalie did was shake her head.

"Promise me."

Katherine was hesitant.

"I promise." Natalie smiled.

End of Flashback

It was nightfall at this point. Katherine stepped out of the car and up to the house. She knocked three times before waiting patiently.

A few seconds later a woman answered the door.

"Oh hey Katherine. What can I do for you?" She asked.

"I need my package I gave you." She told her.

"Right." The woman grabbed something from the table and handed it to Katherine. "Here you go. And what is it?" The woman asked her.

Katherine opened the box.

"It's my freedom."

I know this is short and yes Natalie is dead. Don't kill me please. I was gonna wait longer until I killed Natalie but I got bored so I made it sooner but yeah.

Next is probably going to be the last chapter.
