Chapter 27

Harry POV:

I placed Mia on the kitchen top and started looking for the ingredients in the shelves.

"Do you know where your mum keeps the flour love?" I asked Mia and she pointed to the top shelf.I took it out and measured a small amount to make some cupcakes.

"Hawwy Mia want color cake pweaseee" she bounced from the counter and I laughed at how cute she looked with her cute curls bouncing up and down as she nodded her head.

"Anything for you princess" I mock bowed at her and she threw some flour on my head. I brushed it off and gave her the bowl and the egg beater.

"Mia cook?" She asked.

"Yea,you have to just rotate it like I do,come on do it with me " I placed her on my lap and whisked the flour with her until she decided to whisk some of the batter on my face.It fell straight on my nose. She looked at me and giggled.

"Oh Little Miss mischievous, this is not going to end good" I grabbed a handful of batter and rubbed it on her face before she tried to run away from my grip.At last somehow we tried whisking the batter and it was over.

Mia was so excited that she wanted to help me with each and everything I did.Even though it took time than it usually did,it was fun baking with Mia. One of the best cooking memory in my whole life and I came to know a lot about Mia which was so interesting.

"So we put this inside the oven and wait for a few minutes so that our cupcakes are ready" I removed the gloves from my hand and dusted my shirt.So what do you want to do meantime?

"Mmm....movieee...." She shouted.

"Yea come on let's pick the movie and go inside our cute little fort for sometime" I carried her to the living room and let her pick the movie.She wanted to watch Monsters Inc.I put the DVD in the disc and we went inside our pillow fort.She must have watched this movie so many times that she was blabbering all the dialogues with the characters.Every once in a while she would squeal and clap when her favourite scene comes.It felt really good and relaxing to watch Disney movies after a long hectic schedule.

After half an hour the oven dinged and we went to take the cupcakes out of the oven.Mia watched carefully as I took the hot cupcakes out of the oven.

"So what icing you want in there?" I asked as I took the icing flavours out.

"Mm....Chocy,Vanny and Berry.....with spwinky" she grinned at me.

I iced the cupcakes and allowed her to spray the sprinkles on the cakes.She took a handful of sprinkles and sprayed it on all the cakes eating some of them.When she finished,she had a proud grin on her face.

"I did it!!" She lifted her hands in the air and did a small victory dance.I placed the cakes in the tray and let it cool for sometime.

"We can show it to your mum when she arrives,huh? But for now you can have one" I gave her a chocolate cupcake and she looked at me with her big brown eyes.She took a bite and closed her eyes.

"Yummy!Just like mum do" she clapped her hands and gave me a kiss on the cheek. She fed me a bit and it tasted better than I expected ,really yummy.

"So what about continuing our little movie session which we stopped earlier with another cupcake?" I asked.

"You are the best Hawwy" she took another cupcake from the tray and ran to our fort.Halfway through the movie Mia fell asleep on my chest and she looked so peaceful.I wonder what Nisha and Seb are up to,Meera should not spoil anything.

Nisha POV:

"This one?" I asked pointing the yellow dress with small lace patterns on the sleeves.
