Chapter 37

Nisha POV:

I don't understand what he is trying to do now. Just because Meera told what happened in the past he comes and acts so nice with me. I did not want to push him away like he did at the same time I wasn't able to make a clear decision. So I wanted to put all this way for a while and laid down on his shoulders.

Meera came to me and mouthed "is everything okay?" I slid from Seb and he blinked at me.

"I want to talk with Meera for a while, I'll be back watch the kids" with that I pulled Meera aside where no one could see her.

"Are you totally crazy?" I shouted at her and her eyes widened.

"What did I do Nisha?"

"You told him everything! And now he is apologizing to me.I don't want someone talking pity on me and forgive me. I'm not begging for anyone's forgiveness."

"He has the rights to know Nisha. He cannot avoid you or just throw you like that. I want you to be happy why can't you just understand that.I know you don't want anyone to pity you ,I just wanted him to realize what he is missing in his life" Veer noticed us shouting at  each other, so he ran up where we were standing.

"Fine, but you just can't tell him everything like that, I was depressed, I was a freak carrying a child at the age of 18" I wanted to throw anything which is nearby but that wouldn't help the situation.

"Nisha" she sighed and hugged me "You weren't a freak dear, that was a natural thing that happened, Mia is our gift. Don't tell me that again ,you aren't a freak. You're a brave woman from what I know but you can't break yourself on the inside and stay brave on the outside. He was an idiot to misunderstand you, that's why I wanted to knock some sense into his head. Don't keep everything inside yourself, cry your heart out you know we all are there to hold you but don't keep everything within yourself" she stoked my back while I let out all my tears.

"Tell him how you feel Nisha , tell him you need time to sort out yourself but don't push him away. Men can be complicated sometimes" Veer stroked my hair and smiled at me.

"You men are always complicated,sometimes is an abstract " Meera chuckled at him.I love them do much that I can never stay mad at him for more than an hour.

"Come on give me a hug" he opened his arms and embraced us. "You have a beautiful chance at life Nisha don't mess it up" he looked at me.Veer is always a brother whom I hold on to.

"Now smile for me and go play with the kids, you can talk to him tonight" I went back where the kids are playing . Harry, Mia, Adhi were pushing Kimi into a hole and Seb was helping them to bury him into the sand.

"Will you join me in this game?"I asked them and Mia pretended to think hard.

" Only if you help us bury the monster here , am I right Mia? "Harry asked her and she shook her head.

" OK fine let's bury him deep down into the sand"I took the shovel from Seb's hand and started throwing sand of him. Harry looked at me with his eyes wide and I shrugged.

After playing for the whole afternoon we decided to return home when the sun started to set. All of us were gathered around the fireplace with the kids on Harry's lap.That guy loves kids.

"So Mia's birthday is coming, what have you planned?" Meera asked as she passed us the hot chocolates.

"Its not until Christmas, so we have got a month for that" I sipped the drink a bit fast and hissed.

"Disy....mummy we go disy"Mia shouted.

" Disy where princess?"Seb asked.

"Princess stay disy silly daddy" she reached for him.

"No Mia next time" I turned down her idea.

"What is she saying?"Seb was confused.

" She wanted to go to Disney Land since she watched frozen, it has become her latest obsession. But I don't think we would have time "

"We could take her , besides its not a big deal. You also can take some rest, don't be a workaholic Nisha" he placed his hand on mine.

"I don't know, its year end and we will have to rush up for Christmas holidays "

"Then why do you have this dumb head working in your office?" He pointed at Harry who threw a stone at him.

"Go with him Nisha or he'll kill me, I want to stay alive for few more years" I glared at him but he glared at me back.

"Fine I'll go! But you'll have to do an the work, I don't care what you'll do  is that OK for you?"

"Perfectly fine" he retorted .

"Let's go upstairs,I feel sleepy" Kimi yawned.

"As if you don't feel sleepy everytime, let's go guys" Seb stood up from his place and carried Mia.

"Gnight everyone" Meera stood up with Veer and everyone headed to their respective rooms.

When I got into my room Seb was tucking Mia into her bed and kissed her goodnight. I waited for him in the balcony and he came after five minutes.

"We need to talk" I looked at him when I saw his shadow approaching.

"I figured" he sat on the recliner stretching.

"Can you just give me some time, it's all a whirlwind and I'm really confused"I looked down.

" Is that all you wanted to say? Loosen up Nisha, just for once . This is not a war "

"Will something happen if I loosen up? It's the same anyway, I get hurt at the end"

"I did not tell you to run away from me, you were the one who assumed things Nisha, you think I'm that cruel to leave you alone?" He stood up from his chair and sighed.

"I don't want to talk about the same things again and again Seb, you pushed me away when I apologised, but now all of a sudden you're here acting all nice only because you came to know about my past, that's pity and I don't need anyone's pity or sympathy" I didn't want to be rice but it came out rude.

"Fine I'll wait for you to turn around. Clear all your doubts and come to me when your sure you can forgive me"He pinched the bridge of his nose.

" I did not mean that...."

"Then what Nisha? I pushed you away and now your trying to push me away. I did not hate you Nisha"

"You don't hate me?" I chuckled dryly."Funny thing Seb "

"Its true,I.... don't hate you" he looked into my eyes and leaned close to me. I took a step back.

"I never stopped loving you , all those words were a spur of the moment, please I wasn't taking pity on you" he placed his hand on my  cheek and cupped my face. I leaned into his soft touch and he leaned in again.

"I'm actually proud of you" he placed a soft kiss on my cheek and I shivered a bit. After all these years he still had this effect on me.

"Good night buttercup" he kissed me once more and went to sleep on the couch.

What in this world is happening to my life now?So much drama!!
