Kellin's POV:

I wake up in a hospital room, in Vic's strong grip. I hug his arm tightly, trying not to think about my mom being dead, but when it comes back to me, it hits me like a ton of bricks. She's gone forever, and never coming back.

"Vic?" I whisper softly, and he opens his eyes slowly, landing on me. He hushes me softly, pulling me close to his chest and hugging me tightly, and I stare at his torso, placing my hand to his chest.

"I'm here, baby boy." He whispers again, and I close my eyes, tears streaming down my cheeks slowly. I didn't want to cry anymore.

"I-I already miss her, Vic." I whisper shakily, hugging my boyfriend tightly, and he kisses my hair, hugging me back tighter and humming softly.

"I know, I do too." He whispers, rubbing my back and calming me down, and I sniffle, quickly wiping away my tears. I hate crying.

"I love you, Kellin." He whispers, giving me the reassurance that I need that he'd be there through all and everything, and I place a kiss to his lips, making us both smile softly.

"I love you, too, Vic." I whisper, and he kisses my shoulder softly before placing his lips at my forehead.

"Good, because i'll never stop loving you, no matter what, babe." He murmurs, pressing gentle kisses along my cheek, and I smile softly, closing my eyes and resting my hand on his cheek.

"I know, and i'll never stop loving you." I whisper back, and he holds my waist tighter, letting me tangle my legs between his. I felt so emotionless about my mom at this point, I have no idea what to do.

The hospital room door opens, revealing Mike, Theo, and my sister Kayleigh, who was crying. Vic and I sit up, Kayleigh diving into my arms and Mike giving Theo to him, and I kiss Kayleigh's head, sniffling a little and holding back my tears.

"I'm so sorry, Kayleigh, you d-didn't deserve this." I whisper to her, and she looks up at me, her bright blue eyes shiny with tears.

"I don't w-want to go home, please take me with you." She whispers, and I hold her tightly, looking up at my dad, who looked at heartbroken as her.

"You wanna make a deal, Kayleigh? You can come see Vic and I on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and the other days, you'll be at home with papa. Does that sound good?" I ask her, and she nods, wrapping her small arms around my neck and sniffling.

"Thank y-you, Kellin." She whispers, and I lay back, closing my eyes and rubbing her back slowly. It kills me to see my own sister so distraught.

"Of course, sweetheart." I whisper, and my dad gives me a small but broken smile as Kayleigh gets up to walk off with him. She gives me a sad and loving look before leaving the room, and Mike covers his mouth with his hand, sighing.

"That's your little sister, right?" He asks, and I nod, wiping away my tears slowly. I curl up into Vic's side as he holds Theo, and I feel myself growing angrier.

"Woah, calm down, Kellin." Mike says, and Vic looks at me, and then my heart monitor, before grabbing my shoulder.

"Baby, what's wrong?" He asks frantically, and I launch myself into his chest, clenching his shirt.

"Who the fuck killed my mother?" I ask quietly, and I look back and forth between Mike and my boyfriend.

"Ah, um, well, a doctor that works here, he says he's greatly sorry and will forever be in your debt. I'm... Fuck." He whispers, and I close my eyes slowly, taking a deep breath. Someone killed her.

"I'm so sorry." Mike whispers, rubbing my leg softly, and I break down into tears all over again. I can't believe that this is happening the way it fucking is.

"Don't be." I whisper back, and I find myself holding onto Vic's arm tightly. He lets me, and he strokes my hair with his other hand.

"I'm going to leave you two at your peace now, i'll come see you later. Bye, guys." He says softly, and I whisper a barely audible goodbye.

"Bye, Mikey." Vic says softly, and Mike gives us a soft smile, taking Theo and leaving the room slowly. I give Vic a weak smile, kissing his lips softly.

"You really know how to cheer me up for now." I say, and he chuckles, rubbing my back slowly.

"How did I cheer you up, angel?" He asks, and I hold onto him tightly, burying my face in his collarbone.

"You're here." I whisper, and he kisses my hair.

"I'll always, always be here, no matter what, no matter what the situation. I'll always be here to cheer you up. Now, let's take a nap, i'm tired." He says, and I nod, giving him a long kiss before we both drift off to sleep in each other's arms.

And i'm praying to God that everything will be okay.
