Kellin's P.O.V:
"Baby boy, i'm home!" Vic yells from outside our bedroom, but I was more focused on a jewelry bag that I found hiding in my closet.
"Babe, what the fuck is this? I told you not to get me expensive things for Christmas." I snap angrily, pulling out a Tiffany & Co jewelers bag from the top of my closet, and I look at my boyfriend of two years, waiting for a response.
"Well, uh." He starts, and I narrow my eyes at him. He scratches the back of his neck nervously, taking my hand and grabbing the bag, and I yank away from him, crossing my arms.
"I want an answer and I want it now!" I demand, and he laughs, lifting me up and walking around another part of our mansion, where our pool was located.
"I fucking hate you." I murmur, and he shakes his head.
"No, you don't." He chuckles. He covers my eyes, setting me down, and when he opens it, there were roses and candles everywhere. I giggle, covering my face.
Of course.
"What the hell is all this?" I ask, turning, and he places a gentle kiss to my lips, smiling and getting down on one knee. I gasp, covering my mouth.
He isn't.
"I think you already know." He says, chuckling, and I giggle into my hand, letting him take my other one.
He isn't.
"Kellin Quinn, i'm sick and tired of calling you Kellin Quinn, I want to finally be able to call you Kellin Fuentes, and it also has a nice ring to it." He says, and I laugh, closing my eyes and listening to his sweet words.
"I've been with you long enough to know that you're the only want i'll ever want and need in life, Kellin. I've been in love with you since day one. I can promise you that. You know damn well that I love you, I care for you, and I cherish you, with all my heart. You're the most beautiful and stunning creature my eyes have ever laid upon. Your hair, your eyes, your skin, your nose, every single little thing about you is absolutely perfect. I need you, Kellin. I need you in my life, and you're the only one that i'll ever need. You're the absolute love of my life. I need to make you mine, officially." He says, taking out a small velvet box, and I gasp, tears streaming down my cheeks.
"Kellin, will you do me the most amazing honor and make me the luckiest man alive? Will you marry me?" He asks, and I shriek, jumping on him and tackling him to the ground.
"Yes, yes, Vic, a million times yes!" I scream, attaching my lips to his in a very deep and passionate kiss, and he sighs into it, holding my back tightly and smiling brightly when I pull away.
"Thank God, I really can't live without you." He says, and I giggle, wiping away my tears and letting him slip the perfect diamond ring onto my finger, where it would stay forever, until the day I die, and even beyond.
"And I really can't live without you, Vic." I giggle, kissing him again harder, and he grips at my ass, kissing me passionately, the kiss that reminds me of why I fell in love with him in the first place.
Though painting and all, Vic grew to get a very well-paying job as a CSI agent, which he loves. Everyday, he comes home with a smile on his face, knowing that he gets to see his family, and it made me smile that he was happy, with me, with our son, with life.
I slowly started to go visit my mom at the cemetery. I told her about everything that happened, and I know that she's listening from up above. She gives me little signals that she's there, sometimes I see her shadow, or sometimes I smell her perfume at the grave. She's always listening, and i'm always listening.
Sure, we had our ups and downs, but we never left each other, no matter what. Each day, I grow to love him more and more, if that was even possible. I love him more than words can ever explain.
I never thought that one day I would fall in love with such a wonderful man.
As a shy boy who never left home, I had no idea what love was.
Until I met Vic, the guy of my dreams.
The guy that I thought only existed in stories.
But I was so wrong.
I fell in love with the man, who was just a painter.
