New clothes

Ok well here's another chapter! I'n really excited I have over 100 reads! ^_^Thank everyone who has read and enjoyed my story sorry that I haven't been able to update lately.

Kagome's POV

I looked down at my new cast. It was just a plain white one but I was thinking about decorating it to make it look a little better. I sat there imagining all I could draw to make it look better when I suddenly felt the car jolt to a stop. I looked around surprised that we were already at the mall. I jumped a little as my door opened for me. Glancing at the drivers side I noticed that Inuyasha had already got out and opened my door.

Letting him help me out I looked around at all the people around us. More than a little intimidated now I decided to stick close to Inuyasha. An hour later I found myself sitting in a small food court by myself as Inuyasha went to order our food. He had ended up buying me 10 shirts, 5 skirts, 5 shorts, 3 pants, 4 dresses, some underclothes, which I went to get alone while he waited, and a few other necessities.

"I hope you like hamburgers and coke. Sorry I didn't know what you wanted so I just got you the same thing I ordered," Inuyasha said as he sat the tray of food on the table.

"A hamburger's fine, thanks. I never had one before but I'm sure i'll like it," I reply before grabbing one and unwrapping it.

"Feh what are you a vegetarian," he scoffed as he took a big bite.

"No I just never had enough money or a home," I whispered as I looked down and sighed sadly.

"Oh," was all he said, but he did look a little guilty which was enough for me to forgive him. The rest of lunch went well we both talked about simple stuff and got to know each other. Inuyasha was a little snappy and gruff, but I could tell he was enjoying the talk as much as I was. About halfway through a game of 20 questions his cell phone began to ring.

"What," he snapped when he answered. He was quiet while someone on the other side replayed and explained what they wanted. "Ok, I'm at the usual food place in the mall see you when you get here," he said before he hung up.

"Well looks like you get to meet Miroku soon. He's on his way here now," he said.

"Oh, ok so how long have you and him been friends," I ask giving him a questioning look.

"I've known him my whole life. Don't worry I'll make sure he doesn't mess with you," he answered. We talked a while more. We were interrupted a little while later when a dark haired man coming up to our table.
