Kagome's POV

I slowly woke up to the smell of bacon. 'It must have been a few days since I last had anything to eat' I think to myself. As if reading my mind my stomach let out loud rumble of agreement. I look at my surroundings and realize that I was in a different room than last time.

This room was painted a pale cream color with tan trim around the walls and doors. The bed I was currently sitting on had a tan cover with small flower prints all over it. I stand up,being careful of my hurt arm and bruises, and walk over to a door beside the chestnut colored dresser and open it enough to peek in.

My eyes were meet with the sight of a large walk in closet. I was surprised to see it was full of clothes and shoes. I slowly back out wondering whose they could be. I could only remember a silver haired man but not any woman who these could belong to. I head to one of the other doors I noticed earlier. This time I opened it wider than the closet door.

This door turned out to lead to a bathroom, and a nice one at that! It had a wide, deep tub that could easily fit 3 people! In the corner was a generous sized walk in shower with a glass door. There was a deep sink set in a garnet countertop. A mirror/ medicine cabinet hung on the walk above the sink. Seeing my reflection in the mirror I decided to take that shower I was longing for.

I looked around until I found a fluffy looking towel in a cabinet. Stripping out of my dirty ripped clothes I stepped under the warm stream of water. I sigh in relief as the water seemed to wash away all my worries.

Inuyasha's POV

I looked up from the pan of sizzling bacon as my sensitive ears picked up the sound of a shower running upstairs. I couldn't help but be curious about this girl who looked eerily like Kikyo. I sigh as I think of Kikyo. It was almost 4 years since her death. I shake my head growling at the direction my thoughts were heading.

Putting the bacon and eggs on two plates. I turn to the fridge for something to drink. After pouring some juice I let my thoughts wonder while I wait for Kagome to get done. It was a good thing Sessomaru was gone for a month on business. It would be difficult to explain the situation to him. I start wondering why Kagome was in the park being attacked and why she was soo thin.

At the thought of her being too thin I add a little extra bacon and eggs to her plate. My plate still had twice as much as hers but being a hanyo I tend to eat more than other people. I hear the shower cut off and a few minutes later my ear twitches at the sound of soft footsteps coming down the stairs.

A sweet smell reached my nose as she appeared in the doorway of the kitchen. I growl as I look over and notice she was wearing kikyo's favorite sundress. At my growl she looks scared and starts to back away slowly.

"I... I'm s-sorry i'll g-go ch-change back into m-my clothes! I didn't know who they belonged to and my clothes were dirty." She said in a rush while backing up.

"No it's ok you can where that. I'll take you to get some clothes later." I reassured her while moving back to the table. "Hurry up and eat we'll go after breakfast if you want."

"I don't have any money though."she mumbled softly looking at her feet.

"Keh, don't worry I have plenty to get you some clothes." I scoff at her. "And I will take you to the doctor to get that arm checked out I think it may be broken."

"Arigatou, but why are you being so nice to me?" She asked as she set down and started eating.

"You just remind me of someone and Miroku would never let it go if I didn't help someone in need." I grumble as I stuff more bacon in my mouth.

"Who is Miroku?" She asked tilting her head a little to the side curiously.

"You'll probably meet him today but be careful he is a major pervert." I reply curtly signaling that I wanted to in peace. Her chocolate brown eyes widened slightly but she took the hint and didn't say anything else.

After we finished eating we both put our plates in the sink and she followed me out to my red Nissan RX 8. (A/N idk much about cars but my sis always talks about this one) I decide we should go to the hospital first because her wrist looked a little swollen and bruised still. The silence was starting to bug me so I turned on the radio to fill the silence.

I will try to update as much as I can, probably a few chapters at a time, but with school started back and me maybe moving soon you might have to wait a few weeks at a time. Let me know if you like long chapters or short chapter so I can start writing the way most people will like!
