Kagome's Secret

Baby fright

I am so sorry for not updating I should be getting internet later this month and I have been focusing on trying to find good colleges to go to for vet school. And sadly the guy who I really liked doesn't like me back even though he did kiss me but we agreed that we could still be friends so I was slightly depressed about that. I also twisted my knee again and I have to go get an X-ray and MRI done on them anyway onto the story.....

Kagome is still almost 3 months pregnant but since it's a half demon it seem about 6 months developed.

Songo is 6 months still

Kagomes POV

I look up as I hear a gasp at the door. Inuyasha stood there covered in blood and panting while looking at me with wide fearful eyes.

"Kagome..." he whispers stumbling toward me.

"Inuyasha... it hurts.." I manage to whimper out as I clutch at my stomach desperate for our child to be ok. He falls to his knees in front of me and glances at my blood soaked jeans in desperation.

"I know. It's ok. I'm going to get you some help. You will be fine. You HAVE to be!" he said while he glanced around wildly. His eyes land on my mom and he seems confused.

"I'm Kagome's mom it's a long story. I am going to go call the hospital and get them to send help. You stay with her and keep her awake and make sure her water doesn't break. If her water breaks then there will be no way to save the baby and it's too early for the baby to survive outside the womb yet. I will be back as quick as I can with help." My mom said before she ran upstairs.

"Kagome hold on she's going to get help. Your going to be fine and then we are going to have a beautiful baby together. Just stay awake." Inuyasha whispered to me as he sits down and pulls me to sit between his legs. I rest my back against his chest as I bring my knees close to me and cradle my stomach. He lays his hand on my stomach and rubs soothing circles over it.

The pain was still there but I was beginning to feel numb against it. I relaxed more into him as my head began to feel fuzzy. I could hear Inuyasha yelling at me to open my eyes and I didn't realize that I had closed them. I struggled to open them and finally succeeded.

He was staring at my with a concerned expression and I tried to smile at him in reassurance but I couldn't seem to be able to. My hearing was beginning to fade out and and I could see him saying something to me but I couldn't tell what he was saying.

His had tears in his eyes and then he leaned down and kissed me gently. I returned the kiss as best I could but he probably couldn't even tell I was kissing back. He kept his lips pressed gently to mine and I could feel his tears mixing with mine.

I could faintly hear sirens coming closer as Inuyasha pulled away from the kiss. I could finally hear one last thing he said.

"Please don't leave me. I love you." He whispered as he held my cheeks in his hands. I manage to smile and struggled to find my voice.

"I l-love you t-too." I whisper as I close my heavy eyelids. I was just so tired and even though he keeps telling me to wake up I can't open my eyes. The last thing I am aware of is someone moving me.

I find my self sitting in a meadow surrounded by a beautiful forest. I glance up and smile as I see Inuyasha sit down next to me. He leaned in and connected our lips in a sweet kiss as he pulled me close. Before the kiss got too deep a small voice cut us off.

"Ewww! Daddy you going to get cooties from mommy! Girls are icky!" a small boy whined as he scrunched his face up. I feel a smile stretch across my face as I notice that he looks exactly like Inuyasha only younger.

"Well if you think I'm that icky I guess I'll just have to do this!" the words leave my mouth and it feels like I'm more of an observer since I can't seem to control what happens in this dream. I jump up and run after the little boy before I pick him up and lay him down in the grass. I then began tickling him as he giggled wildly and tried to wiggle away.

"Bubby! Bubby! Help me!" the little boy squealed between giggles. An eerily familiar figure runs out of the trees carrying a little girl who looked similar to me but had little ears like Inuyasha and the little boy. I realized that the familiar figure was Shippo. Only he looked older. He was maybe 10 or older.

"Hmm what will you do for me if I help you?" Shippo asked the nameless boy. The boy was too busy laughing to reply as the little girl jumps out of Shippo's arms and runs over.

"Haha you being tickled! I'm helping mommy!" she squealed as she began helping me tickle the little boy while Shippo just stood there watching and laughing along.

This dream seems so wonderful I just want it to last forever but I know that it's not real. At least not yet.

Inuyasha POV

Kagome slumps in my arms as paramedics begin to flood the small basement and gently takes her from my arms to lay her on the waiting stretcher.

They shine a light in her eyes and began yelling orders as they continue taking vitals. I follow them as they carry her to the ambulance and they allow me to sit in the back with her.

I stare at her the entire way to the hospital and they finally force my to wait in a waiting room when they take her back. I am so lost without her here. Wait Miroku doesn't even know they found her yet!

I pull out my phone and dial the familiar number before pressing the phone to my ear.

"Hello?" a groggy voice answers.

"Miroku get to the hospital now! I have Kagome but she's hurt I'm not sure if her or the baby is ok."

"Shit! ok I will be there soon! Songo wake up Inuyasha found Kagome!" Miroku shouted before hanging up. Just as I put my phone away a woman who I recognized as Kagome's mother arrived with to young boys. One looked to be 7 and one 5. The 5 year old was also a fox demon.

"Hi this is Souta Kagome's younger brother and this is Shippo he was kidnapped like us. I think you better sit down while I explain everything. It may take your mind off of Kagome for a little while." She said. And that's what we did for the entire time we waited for news on Kagome and the baby. We just talked and she told me of her and Kagome's past.

Miroku and Songo showed up and listened as well. After an hour and a half a doctor finally came out.

"Friends and family of Kagome?" We all stood up.

"Well we have good and bad news. which would you rather first?"

"Good" I immediately reply.

"Well the good thing is that we stopped the labor in time and Kagome and the babies are alive. The bad news is that she lost a lot of blood and is malnourished so she will have to stay in the hospital for a few days to monitor her. She may also go into early labor which could harm the babies if she doesn't take it easy. I don't want her out of bed except to use the restroom. She may only have baths where she can sit down no showers at all. She needs to rest as much as possible."

"Wait! Babies? As in more than one?" I asked shocked.

"Yes congratulations you have twins. A boy and a girl. Once she wakes up and feels better we can take another ultrasound and show you both." The doctor replied with a smile.

I can't wait for her to wake up! And I am never letting her leave my sight ever again.
