Kagome's Secret

Naraku's plan

Ok I was invited to join the inuyasha watty awards so I am really excited this chapter will have part of my main plot in it which means there is probably only a few chapters left. Maybe 5 at the most. Ok enjoy!!

Kagome's POV

I'm still not sure what I'm having yet but Songo was supposed to have an appointment today to find out what she's having. I can't wait till she calls and lets me know! she was supposed to call an hour ago and I was getting nervous and kept fidgeting.

"Kagome, sit still for a minute. I'm sure she will call soon." Inuyasha whispers in my ear as we cuddle on the couch. Ever since he told me of his fears of me dying he has been over protective and I could barely go to the bathroom without him following me and waiting outside the door. But it was kind of sweet in some ways.

"What if something's wrong with the baby? Or if something happened to Songo? I can't help but worry. She was supposed to call an hour ago!" I told him while relaxing slightly as he rubbed soothing circles on my back.

"Shh, it's fine nothing happened. If they don't call in twenty minutes then we will go to their house. How does that sound baby?" I nod and lay my head on his shoulder deciding that he is probably right. The peaceful quiet is interrupted by my stomach growling loudly and demanding food.

"It seems like someone's hungry!" Inuyasha says while chuckling and standing up. I blush and go to stand up but he puts a gentle hand on my shoulder and forces me to stay sitting.

"You stay here and rest. I'll go get you some food and I'll be right back before you know it." He assures as he sees my questioning face.

"Ok and can you get me some juice too? I'm really thirsty."

"Sure, hold on." He says and quickly presses a kiss to my forehead. I smile and lean back while I wait for him. After a few minutes he comes back with a plate full of fruit and some crackers. That's another thing. Ever since he found out I was pregnant he was adamant about making me eat healthy. But tonight I am going to make him buy me ice cream.

"Here I got several different kinds of fruit just in case." He smiles as he sits down beside me and puts a glass of juice on the table. I pick it up and take a sip before setting it back down and leaning against him.

"Open up." he commands as he picks up a grape. I smile and obey his command. He continues to feed me random pieces of fruit.

The phone rings and I jump up as quickly as I can and race for the phone. Inuyasha puts the plate of food on the table and walks up behind me. I answer the phone as he wraps his arms around me.

"Hello?" I asks excited.

"Hey! I found out I'm having triplets!" Songo says excitedly. I gasp and feel excitement bubbling up inside me.

"Really! That's awesome! What are they?"

"Two girls and a boy! Meet me at the mall in half an hour!"

"Ok! see you soon!" I say before hanging up. Inuyasha of course heard everything with his half demon hearing. I drop the phone on the couch and go to grab my purse.

"Come on Inuyasha let's go!" I grab his hand and tug him to the door with me.

"We don't have to be there for half an hour baby slow down." Inuyasha complains but grabs the keys anyway.

"I want to get there early! Now come on!" I demanded. He sighs but we're soon in the car heading to the mall.

We make it to the mall in 5 minutes so we went to the little cafe that we first ate at. We talked and just relaxed as we waited for Songo and Miroku to arrive. After about 10 minutes of waiting I had to pee really bad. I guess the baby was using my bladder as a pillow. I started to squirm in my seat not willing to get up and miss Songo showing up. I finally gave up and jumped up to head to the bathroom.

"I'll be right back I just have to go to the bathroom. Wait here for Songo and Miroku please?" I pleaded with Inuyasha. He looked anxious but nodded anyway and I walked quickly to the bathroom.

After relieving my bladder I wash my hands and walk out of the restroom. The mall was pretty quiet today and I didn't see anyone and I had a bad feeling in my stomach. When I begin walking I felt an arm wrap tightly around my waist and a hand clamp over my mouth muffling my scream. I struggle to break free of their grip but I'm not strong enough.

I feel tears burn behind my eyes as I fight panic clawing at me. My captor drags me backward until we reach an employees exit. He drags me to a black car with dark tinted windows and shoves me in the back seat as he slams the door shut I try to open it but there's no indoor handle. Whoever kidnapped me must have taken them off.

I feel more panic as I try to find a way out. I look out the window and see Songo and Miroku walking hand in hand toward the mall. They were too far away to see or hear me but I screamed and beat at the window as I watch them disappear inside the mall. The tears I've been trying to hold back finally broke free and I started sobbing an screaming as I slid back down on the seat defeated.

The door swings open again and I'm staring into the face I've seen in so many nightmares.

Naraku. He was back and he was my kidnapper. And I was pregnant with Inuyasha's baby.

"You should have just been quiet. Now I'm going to have to make you be quiet." Naraku threatens and I sob harder scared of what he would do. What if he kills me? Inuyasha would be broken. I can't do the to him.

I cower back as he raises his fist and that's the last thing I see as it connects with my head and I black out.

I wake up in a cold, smelly, dark room and my head is throbbing. I lay still as my eyes adjust to the darkness an the throbbing in my head eases up. I glance around and I can make out the shape of 3 other people sitting against the opposite wall. I try to move farther away from them but I stop when I feel a tug on my ankle. I glance down and was greeted with the sight of a shackle wrapped around my ankle an the chain was attached to the wall.

I feel my stomach jump at this and I quickly crawl as far away as I can before I am violently sick to my stomach. After I finally catch my breath I crawl back to the wall and curl up.

"What's your name sweety? a kind woman's voice breaks the silence. I heist as I consider answering but what could it hurt? Naraku already knew my name and these people were in the same position as me.

"My n-name is Ka-Kagome." I stutter as I sit up and lean against the cold brick wall. I hear a gasp in the darkness and hear the rattle of chains as someone shuffles around.

"Kagome is that really you?" I hear the woman speak again but I can heard tears in her voice this time. How does she know me though and why does she care so much?

"Um yes my name is Kagome. How do you know me?" I question quietly.

"Kagome I'm your mom. I've been looking for you for a long time. I never died that day but I was very close to it. I saw what you did to him and you saved me and your brother. He barely missed hitting Souta when he stabbed me." She explains as she begins sobbing and she pulls a small boy close to her. I assume he is Souta. My brother.

I feel like I can't breath as I realize that my mom and brother was alive. They were really alive. And my mom watched me kill my father.

Wait! I know who the woman and boy are but who is the other little boy?
