Kagome's POV
I sigh as I wake up trying to remember where I was. Oh that's right I fell asleep on the couch after telling Songo that I killed my father. I gasp and quickly sit-up as I look around for Songo. 'Oh my gosh! what have I done? I shouldn't have told her I should have lied anything but telling her the truth! what does she think of me now? I'm just a murderer and I don't deserve to have her as a friend.' I start hyperventilating as all these thoughts race through my mind. Realizing that I needed to calm down before Songo catches me having a panic attack I started taking deep even breathes as I focused on the wall opposite of me.
After I calmed down enough I stood up shakily and wandered around the house. I was so worried about Songo finding out who I was that I just went straight to the room she said was mine and I never got to look around her house.
I was upstairs checking out the rooms so far I found 3 guest rooms, not including mine, a room I assumed to be Songo's because when I opened the door I could hear a shower and I saw a light under a door that was adjoined to the room, I quickly and quietly backed away from the room not wanting to make her mad. I continued exploring the upstairs and I noticed the last door in the hall was slightly open as I open it the rest of the way I glance around an was surprised to see an art room. I really like to draw and sketch. When I was living on the streets I would often find discarded paper or pencils and I would sketch animals or nature scenes that were nearby at the time. I wandered in the room and looked around.
It appeared that this room was abandoned a long time ago. There was a thin layer of dust covering the neat stacks of art supplies. I was distracted from exploring farther when I heard a small meow in the corner. Curiously I walked over and as I got closer I noticed there was a pile of books that appeared to be knocked the top of a small bookcase. There was also a dusty white cover that appeared to have been protecting the books from the dust. I reached for the cover and when my hand was close enough to grab it, it suddenly jerked and a cat's head popped out from under the cover startling me so much that I fell backwards.
As I land on the floor I hit my head on the corner of a thick wooden table. I lay in the floor stunned while I try to remember what happen and where I was. Oh yeah I was about to pick up a cover and then a cat scared me. As I remember that the said cat jumps on my stomach and looks down at me. I barely had time to notice that the cat was white with black ears and a black diamond on its forehead but the thing that surprised me was the red eyes.
I can feel my consciousness slipping away as black dots dance infront of my eyes. As I gave into the blackness I heard someone calling my name but I was too tired to answer the voice that kept begging me to stay awake. I finally surrendered to the welcoming blackness that I knew would bring me peace.
Songo's POV
I had just finished getting dressed after my shower and was about to go check if Kagome was still asleep when I heard a loud crash. I rushed out of my room and try to find out where the sound came from. As I look around I notice the art room door was open wider than normal. I normally leave it cracked open for Kirara (did I spell her name right?) because this is her favorite spot for some reason.
I rush over to the room to find out what made the loud crash. When I rushed in the room I froze at the sight that greeted me. Kagome was sprawled out on the floor looking slightly dazed and Kirara was sitting on her stomach looking at her curiously.
