Kagome's Secret

Moving out?

Ok, I just want to thank everyone for their votes and and awesome comments! Here is another chapter and I wrote it for all of you!!

Inuyasha's POV

"Thanks, what time do you want to come over Miroku?" I ask as I head down stairs.

"I'll be there around 7 make sure you order plenty of food," Miroku says right before hanging up. I shake my head as I set my phone on the table. He always has to make sure I will get food for him any time we meet. I wonder if Kagome has unpacked her new clothes yet. It will make it so much easier to move her out if she has not yet. I sigh thinking of how quiet the house will be without her. I can hear her upstairs playing music and singing along. She has a pretty good voice.

She is not being loud, but I can easily hear her with my sensitive ears. Even though it is not common people do know about demons. Although most full fledge demons either blend in by looking mostly human or just live in unpopulated areas. With me being half demon it's hard to blend in. Unlike my full blooded brother and father I have dog ears on my head, claws, and fangs. My brother and father blend in easier and are fully accepted by all demons. I on the other hand am not accepted by human or demon.

The only people who accept me are Miroku and Songo. I can only truly trust them alone. And Kikyo used to accept me. I don't know about Kagome yet. She acts like I'm not different. She looks at me like she would look at any other human. She makes me feel normal when we are together. But I have to stop thinking like that because she will leave soon and I can only love one person and she is dead now.

I shake these thoughts out of my head as I look at the time. It is already 10:56 I have to be at the restaurant by 12 to drop Kagome off. I don't know if I should tell her or not. I guess I won't tell her anything till we get there and I can drop her bags off later. That in mind I started making last minute plans.

Kagome's POV

As I finish singing my favorite song my stomach growls loudly. Giggling I look at the alarm clock and notice it was already 11:30. I had skipped breakfast and now I was regretting it. I had felt great and well rested when I woke up this morning. It was a great feeling to have after so long. When I had woken up fully I took a nice long warm shower. As my hair dried it curled perfectly and I changed into a black tank top with a white puppy on the front and a green skirt. After that I put on a little bit of makeup.

I checked the mirror and every thing was perfect. I head down stairs to see what there was to eat. As I near the bottom of the stairs I hear Inuyasha on the phone

"Yeah I'm about to leave now."

"I know which restaurant!"

"No she doesn't know yet I will tell her soon. Bye."

"KAGO....." Inuyasha suddenly appears at the bottom of the stairs looking shocked to see me. "Oh your already down here." he says dumbly. I giggle at his still shocked face as he takes in my appearance.

"So where are we going that I don't know about?" I ask sweetly. His expression turns nervous and he looks away before turning around and heading towards the door.

"Hurry up we're going out to eat," he answers bluntly. I huff before quickly fallowing him to the car. Once I'm in and buckled up he starts heading to wherever we are going. We finally end up at a small restaurant.

We go in and sit at a booth near the back. An old waitress brings over a drink for Inuyasha.

"Do you want your regular?" She asks kindly.

"Of course, what else do I ever eat?" Inuyasha scoffs before taking a drink.

"And what can I get you young lady?" she asks as she turns to me.

"Um.. I'll get a hamburger please," I reply kindly.

"Ok if you need anything just ask for Kaede," she said before walking off. I look over at Inuyasha again. He has been acting strange since last night. I wonder if it is because of the kiss. But it can't be he said it meant nothing to him. If it did mean something then why would he have to lie to me. I sigh and he looks up and catches me staring at him. He glares and I glance down blushing.

Right then Kaede comes back with our food and I pretend to be occupied by eating my burger. After about five minutes of awkward silence the bell over the door rings announcing a new costumer. I casually glance over to see who it was. As soon as I recognize the black haired girl I duck down trying to hide behind the seat. Just when I think that she didn't see me Inuyasha calls for her and waves her over.

"Songo, finally I didn't think you were going to show up," Inuyasha said in an irritated voice when she walks over to our table. "This is the girl I told you about last night," he added while motioning toward me with his hand. I hang my head slightly so that my bangs cover most of my face. If she recognizes me then she will surely hate me, or worse she might tell the police who I was and then I will be thrown in prison for murder.

"Hi, nice to meet you. Are you ready to leave?" Songo asks politely. She is looking at me curiously and it is making me so nervous I don't notice what she said at first.

"Wait, go where?" I ask wearily as her words sink in. I glance through my hair just in time to see her give a shocked and angry look at Inuyasha who just shrugs.

"Did Inuyasha not tell you where you was going?" she asks clearly irritated at Inuyasha. I look up slightly, still not showing my face completely, and give Inuyasha a questioning look.

"Keh, she didn't need to know. All she has to do is get out of my house," he told Songo. It was clear he was trying to ignore me and it hurt my feeling even though I don't know why. It shouldn't surprise me, no one wants me around anyway.

"She does need to know! It involves her life and where she lives!" Songo exclaims, frustrated by Inuyasha's in difference. I feel bad since I am the reason for their fight. I have to find a way to stop it. Knowing this would probably end up bad for me I decide to just go with Songo.

"Ok, I'm ready to go now. When do I pick up my stuff?" I quietly say as I stand up and wait for Songo to leave. She looks at me surprised and then at Inuyasha questioningly.

"I will drop them off at 5. I have stuff to do after this," he answers coldly. And then he walks out and drives away before either of us can say anything.

"Ok so how about I take you to my place and we get to know each other?" Songo asks as we walk to her car. I glance around nervously and try to find a reason not to but I couldn't think of anything.

"Um..... okay?" My answer comes out sort of like a question but she doesn't seem to notice. If she did then she acted like she didn't.

Songo's POV

I glance at the girl as she gets in the car and closes the door. Inuyasha didn't tell me her name but she seemed very familiar to me. It's almost like I know her but it must be because she looks so much like Kikyo. Either way I will get her to trust me and tell me all her secrets.
