Chapter 5

Jack's POV

"Get in! Come on!" I screamed, tugging Alex inside my door. As soon as I saw my mothers face I realised how wrong it sounded. "What's going on? Jack is it those guys from school?" She ran to the door but all she could see was Lisa on the phone to someone.

"Who's this girl?!" She tapped her foot with her hands on her hips. "She's erm-" I couldn't get my words out no matter how hard I tried. "She's some girl who likes me and she saw me and Jack well..kissing..on the doorstep and now she's telling pretty much the whole school?" Alex explained in one breath. I felt my heart dip. when he paused before he said kissing like it was some huge deal?! Well it kind of wasn't seen as we'd kissed before but my mom didn't know that.

I didn't know what was wrong with me . I mean Alex makes me one of the happiest people ever just by being at least alive or being my friend yet I still manage to feel like shit everyday.

"Well Rian's mom called and asked if you boys would be interested in going to his birthday party? No it's not a little kids one with pass the parcel and a tea party." My mom said slowly went into the kitchen. A party? just what I needed..not. Me and Alex both turned to each other and grinned, were we thinking the same thing? Oh lord no. I caught his eyes as they trailed down passed my belt..yeah he was thinking the same for sure now, surely? "Uhh..J? Your a little erm wet on the front of your..jeans.." He mumbled although he still wouldn't look away which was making the patch even worse. 'Calm down Barakat. It's only Alex.' I said over and over to myself in my head.

"Come on. We need to get ready.." I pulled him upstairs before he went into the bathroom and I was in my bedroom.

Alex's POV

Did I really make him..you know..wet? Shit. I mean all I did was kiss him and potentially stared at him for a while. I wasn't sure why I'd packed a spare pair of boxers but hey I might need them? Or not. No Alex that is not happening, not tonight, not ever because- Jack knocked on the door several times before I opened it. "Taadaa!" I said sarcastically as I was still wearing the same clothes. Is that..hair gel? I didn't think he even used hair gel let alone knew why It'd be on his jeans. Something told me Jack was a bit of a messy kid when it came to that stuff?

*2 hours later*

By the time we got to the party I was already out of my face. Jack's mom was so cool about us that she even ordered us some beer in before we left. I don't even remember saying at least a "Hi" to Rian, all I could remember was pulling Jack upstairs with me into the bathroom. I peeled my eyes open as the sun shone through the blinds, this wasn't Rian's house. It was Jack's. I jumped backwards and hit my head, causing him to cuddle closer. Holy shit he was naked and still asleep and I'd seen everything. "Jack?!" I shook him and pulled the pillow from behind me to hit him around the face with it.

"I'm awake you twat!" He grumbled before finding his feet and realising his covers weren't on his body anymore. "Did we fuck last night?!" I blurted out, realising my arse was killing me. "No! You fell over when I had to carry you back here. You were pissed out of your face and refused to sleep on the sofa, I always sleep naked okay!" He pulled his jeans on before sitting up next to me.

"Umm..Lex?" Jack turned to me, wincing whenever he touched his neck or arms. "Did you feel the need to bite me everywhere?!" He exclaimed. I remembered that for sure but he hasn't noticed his back yet so it was fine I guess? "I was bored." I grumbled before my head hit the pillow again, I was still tired and my head was killing me. "Oh I'm sorry boys!!" His mom popped her head in, "it's fine mom! It's not what it looks like!" Jack yelled to her through the walls.

"Those purple marks starting from your neck and shoulders and going down to your back seem to though?" She smirked before closing the door again. "Next time your horny just don't use me for you to cool off!" He stressed before I moved next to him and grabbed him from behind.

Jack's POV

"Shi- Alex! What the fuck are you-" I couldn't even get words out. I wasn't gonna lie he had pretty fucking big hands and this was quite hot. "I'm checking you've not turned fucking straight over night. Unless you're just not into me anymore?" He sighed, pulling his shoes on and getting ready to leave. "I still like you, a lot. I just don't want to be beaten up again for all this. I know we're happy together but.."

He looked at me with that dreamy look I caught him doing whenever it was just us two. "Nothing should stop us from being happy. We're both a little fucked up and were both a mess on the inside but fuck it Jack we make each other happy and if we can't do that then we really don't have any hope in life!" He laughed over the silly and soppy parts but that's what i understood from all his babbling and mumbling. The door creaked open again, "Can't two gay guys get some privacy!" Jack yelled. I did not expect to see my mother stood there. Now I was fucked.

"Sooo..what've you two been up to last night and this morning? Seeing as I've had no text or phone call AND Jack is covered in purple and red marks?!" She seemed pretty pissed off but then she started laughing. "I hope you didn't get butt-hurt! I'm just kidding but come on Alex, we've got to go out with your dad and his boss. Please wear your suit." She pleaded and wouldn't leave till I agreed. "You in a suit?!" Jack gasped before holding himself and attempting to run to the bathroom. I managed to put the hook on the door before he left the room. "You're not going anywhere." He smirked before pushing me backwards. He lent over me and began placing kissing on my neck until his mom began to shout him over and over. "I'll be back." He whispered in my ear before closing the door behind him.

I waited until his car left his drive and mom went to work, Alex said he was going to be back and I thought there'd be nothing wrong with a little 'surprise.' So I waited and waited..and waited. I got myself a shower, thanks a lot Gaskarth. I wait all day and you don't even- correction. I wait all day and then you sneak through my window and turn my lights off. "Jack sorry just do it!" He placed his hangs on my towel and began to tug at it.
