Chapter 17

Skye's POV

"Lucas?" I asked waking up. He was crying. I reached up and wiped away his tears.

"Yes baby girl it's me." He said.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.

"You were having a nightmare and no one could wake you up. So I brought you up here to try. You kept talking in your sleep so we were all worried when we heard what you said." He told me softly. I looked at him for a moment. Then all of the nightmare came back to me. I remembered every bit of it.

My moms real dad had kidnaped me and mom and he told me that it was my fault that she didn't want to be around him anymore. He told me I should just join my grandparents. I happily agreed with him. So I told him to kill me. He pulled his gun out and I shut my eyes waiting. I heard the bang and everything fell silent. But then I realized that I didn't get shot. So I opened my eyes and saw my mom on the ground with a pool of blood around her. I started crying more than I already was. He just had a cruel smile on his face. Then someone ran into the room. It was a girl in her mid twenties. I yelled he killed my mother. And I heard someone ask who. But it was a males voice. But it came out of the ladies mouth. Then I whispered save me. Then she said "Skylar you have to wake up. It's all a dream. It's not real. Please sweetie wake up. Please." In a males voice again. Then everyone disappeared and it was silent. And that's when I woke up.

"I remember it." I told him.

"It was just a dream." He told me wiping my tears. I sat up and looked around.

"Good. Because you make a very ugly girl." I said with a chuckle.

"What?" He asked.

"In the dream after he killed my mom a girl in her mid twenties ran in. And every word se said was the words you were saying. In your voice. It was kinda creepy." I said standing up. Hunter and Ella came out from behind a wall.

"Are you okay?" Hunter asked me.

"Yeah. Help me take this off." I said motioning to my sling. He just smiled and walked over to me. After that was done we wet downstairs to the others. Mom was sitting on the couch crying ad dad was hugging her. Everyone else was looking away from us so they didn't know were here yet.

"I wonder if she's awake yet." Matthew said. Mom sniffed and sat up looking at the others wit her back still faced to us.

"She's going to be okay." She said. I don't know if she said it for them or for her. Everyone nodded.

"She is going to be okay." I said from behind them. Everyone jumped and turned to look at us. "It was just a nightmare. It won't happen in real life. Because if it does then I will be dating a mid twenty year old lady. With the voice of Lucas." I said with a smile. The boys chuckled.

"You're okay." Mom said hugging me.

"I was always okay. I have the best mom ever." I said hugging her back.

"Yes you do." She said with a chuckle.

"We have school tomorrow. I think we should head home." I said with a frown. Everyone looked at me and ten at each other. Even the adults.

"Nah." They all said. Including the adults.

"What?" I asked.

"You guys aren't going to school tomorrow. I'll call your parents and tell them that I want to take you guys somewhere tomorrow." Mom said. The boys agreed and gave her their parents numbers.

"We are just staying in all day. I'm telling your parents that I want to take you all to the lake as a thank you for helping Skye." Mom said. They nodded and she left to go call.

I think I'm going to get along great here. I have amazing people here to protect me and that love me. But I still feel like there is something missing. Something I'm forgetting. I have my surgery on Monday. But I'm not scared about it. I had to have surgery on my ankle when I broke it during a volleyball game. But I still feel like I'm forgetting something. But what is it.

"Are you okay Skye?" Dad asked making me jump and come back to reality.

"Huh?" I asked looking at him.

"Are you okay?" He sad slower. I nodded. He smiled and followed mom upstairs. Bobbie have me a smile and followed after them. I sat on the stairs going back into thought.

I need to know what I'm forgetting. Okay I think I remember. I made the mistake of having sex with Jackson. Well he kinda forced me. It was the day before I broke up with him. But he didn't use a condom. I pulled my phone out and checked the time. I need to get to the store for a pregnancy test. I haven't had my period. I still had time to get to the store. So I looked up and everyone was staring at me.

"What?" I asked them.

"He forced you to have sex with him?" Hunter asked. Crap I said it out loud. I looked at them and shook my head.

"Skylar." Matthew warned standing up.

"Yes." I said quietly. "Can you take me to the drug store?" I asked him. He got up and pulled me up off of the stairs.

"If he got you pregnant I swear I will kill him this time." Matthew said walking up the stairs with everyone following behind us. Lucas looked shocked. I pulled my hand out of Matthew's and he stopped I turned around to Lucas.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you." I said with pleading eyes.

"It's not your fault." He said hugging me. We continued walking upstairs.

"Hey mom Matthew and Bailey are going to take us to get changed. We'll be back in like thirty minutes." I told her walking out. We all got into the cars. The boys took their own. "Okay Bailey take those four to the house. Ella get me a pair of sweats and a t-shirt. Matthew is going to take me to the store. Oh and don't forget shoes. And socks." I tell them getting in. They nod and we leave. 

Before I know it we are in the drug store looking at pregnancy tests.
