Chapter 24

Alec's POV:

"Where is she!?" Scott yells running into Skye's room. Me and Adlynn are still 'crying' when he runs in. Jakob was reading her vitals.

"Scott it doesn't look good. We aren't sure what made her faint but Xavier and Riley are okay." Jakob said with sadness in his eyes.

"Who's Riley?" He asked us.

"She's having twins." I say through tears.

"She needs to wake up. I can't lose another child." He says now he's crying he takes her hand and kneels down. He starts whispering things to her. I look over at Adlynn and she has a sad smile.

"Guys you need to leave now." Jakob says.

"Why?" We all ask.

"Because visiting hours are over." He says.

"I don't care I'm staying." Scott says.

"I'm not afraid to kick my brother out. You can come back in the morning." He says. Scott hesitates but we all get up and leave eventually. Adlynn stayed behind for a few seconds. As did I.

"I'll call you in one hour." He said. We nodded and left the room.

"How is she?" Hunter asked running up to us.

"If you didn't find her when you did then she could be dead now." I told him. He gave me a hidden smile so Scott couldn't see it.

~one hour later~

"Hello?" Adlynn answered her phone. "Okay we'll be right there." She said and hung up.

"What's wrong?" We all ask.

"She's awake." She said with a smile. We all got up but only Scott ran into the room. We were close behind. When we got in there Skye was sitting up with all of the tubes out and she was talking to Jakob oblivious that we were standing at the door. They were laughing together. He got her laughing so hard she started to snort. Everyone started laughing at her. She jumped and looked at us. Scott was the only one that wasn't laughing.

"You look like nothing happened." He said walking over to her.

"Oh that. It was all his idea. I was supposed to jump up and scare you but I kinda fell asleep. These little one take a big tole on me." She said pointing at her stomach.

"It was all a joke?" He asked.

"You still love me daddy. Oh but we do have a little surprise for you." She said smiling.

"Yeah Jakob told me. You're having twins." He said with a smile.

"Nope. Well yes. Xavier and Riley. Brooke and Kendall." She said laying back.

"Who's Brooke and Kendall?" He asked.

"Your granddaughters." She said checking her nails. I just chuckled at her and I saw her glance up at me with a smile.

"Ella? You're not pregnant too are you?" He asked turning to her. Ella looked at him and started laughing so hard that she was rolling on the ground. She even started snorting like Skye. The guys joined in laughing.

"Dad I'm still the only one pregnant." She tells him. "But I'm having quadruplets." She says with the biggest smile ever. Just then Scott faints. Like literally fainted he fell to the ground. Skye got out of the bed and the guys picked him up and put him on it.

"I guess we have to be here longer." She says sitting on one of the couches.

"I was wondering why you were so big for being only six months." Ryder said. I punched his arm.

"Don't say that to a girl." I tell him. Then everyone starts laughing at his face.

"She's a girl?" He asked us.

"I'm not afraid to murder you." Skye tells him getting serious.

"We know you aren't." We all say at the same time. She just smiled and goes over to Jakob.

"Can I have a picture of the four? Like a sonogram?" She asked biting her lip.

"I knew you'd ask that. Here." He said handing her a picture of our little ones. She smiled so big just looking are picture. The. Out of no where she was crying. I went over and hugged her.

"We are have quads." She said with a tiny laugh through her tears. I nodded my head not wanting to say a word.

"My head hurts." We heard Scott say sitting up.

"That's because you fainted dad." Skye said.

"Why did I faint?" He asked.

"Because I told you I was having quadruplets." She said looking at him. He put his head back on the pillow for a minute as he was in deep thought. Then he stood up and walked out of the room saying that he has somewhere to be. We let him go because it was a lot to take in.

"I'm hungry." Skye and Ella said at the same time. Try both giggled and then looked at Adlynn.

"What are you looking at?" She asked.

"We need food mom. I'm not feeding two. I'm feeding five." Skye said rubbing her belly. Then she stopped and smiled.

"What?" We asked.

"They like that." She said looking down and rubbing it again. Her smile grew wider. "Xavier say something." She said looking at me.

"Like what?" I asked.

"They like your voice." She said.

"How do you know?" Ryder asked. Then she frowned.

"They don't like your voice." She said looking at him.

"Hey no need to fight." I said and her smile came back. She grabbed my hand and placed it on the center of her belly.

"You feel that?" She asked. I nodded. There was a little foot pushing at my hand.

"Who do you think it is?" I asked her. And when I did I felt three little feet kick multiple times.

"I think the foot the is pushing is Brooke. And the feet that keep kicking has to be the boys. Kendall looked like she is going to be the quiet one from how she hides a lot." She said showing me the picture.

"I can't wait to meet them." I say bending down and kissing her belly. She smiled and grabbed my hand.

"I love you." She says kissing me.

"I love you too."
