Chapter 20

Just a heads up guys there is a sad part in this chapter. I'm sorry that it happened but I've had it in mind for a while just didn't know when to put it. But here it is. Please don't hate me for this.

"Why were you under your bed?" Hunter asked.

"Because I don't want to deal with people. I was almost happily asleep but then you had to yell when you got home. So I was fully awake. Then I fell off of my bed when I tried to go back to sleep. Just let me go back to my room and sleep. Please." I told them.

"But we've missed you." Dean said with a pout at the end.

"Does it look like I give a crap? Because I really don't." I snap at them.

"Why are you mad?" Hunter asked.

"Just leave me alone." I said now crying. Stupid mood swings.

"Mom what's wrong with her?" Ella said. I was now sitting on the floor crying my eyes out.

"Mood swings." My mom said. I stopped crying and looked at each one of them. More like glared. They all took a step back except Lucas.

"You really want to challenge me?" I asked.

"I'm not challenging you." He replied still not moving.

"Then what are you doing?" I asked.

"Showing you that no matter what mood you are in or what we go through I'm not leaving your side. You're stuck to me for now on." He said. I looked at him and smiled. Then I started crying again. Then I stopped and started laughing. Yet all stared at me. Except mom and Uncle Darren.

"You scare me." Dean said. I just shrugged and walked upstairs.

"If you go to my room and wake me. I'll kill you with my own hands. And Dean. Delete the picture." I said and went to my room. Time for bed.

"Skye wake up." I heard someone say while shaking me.

"What?" I ask rolling to my side to face the person trying to wake me. I saw Hunter and he's been crying. "Hunter what's wrong?" I ask sitting up. He just drops his gaze to the floor. "You're scaring me Hunter." I say. He looks up with fresh tears running down his cheeks.

"Kyla, Kyle, Addison, and JJ have been in a terrible car accident. Addison and JJ died on impact. Kyla an Kyle made it to the hospital then died on the surgery table. Skylar they're gone." He says crying harder. I'm frozen. When everything finally sinks in I start sobbing.

"No you're lying. It's not true. It can't be true. It's all a lie!" I yell at him. He's just shaking his head the whole time. I fall to my knees and just scream. A blood curling scream.

"Skylar please." Hunter says hugging me. I push him off and run downstairs.

"It's not true. Tell me it's not true!" I yell when I get to the living room. Mom and dad aren't there. It's just Ella and the boys. And they were all crying. "No. No. No!" I run out the door and run into mom and dad.

"Skye what's wrong honey?" Mom asks.

"You don't know?" I ask.

"Know what?" Mom asks.

"Skylar I haven't told them yet. Mom dad why aren't your phones working? I needed you it was an emergency." Hunter says walking outside.

"They are working. But we didn't get any calls from anyone." Dad says looking at his phone.

"What's the emergency? Is someone hurt?" Mom asks panicky.

"You need to go inside and sit down." Hunter tells them. They do so and we follow them in.

"Okay tell me what's wrong. And where are the other four?" Mom asks talking about the four that died not to long ago.

"That's the emergency. Kyla and Kyle took JJ and Addison to the park for a while." Hunter started but his voice kept breaking.

"We called them and told them to get home. That you will be back soon with dinner. So they started back. But they didn't come back. About an hour after calling them we got worried. We tried and tried to call but we got no answer. We were about to call again but there was a sound of a car pulling up. We thought it was you or them. Well it wasn't. It was the police. They came up to us and told us that there was a terrible accident. They were hit head on and then from behind by not one but two drunk drivers." Ella also stopped mom was crying and she kept shaking her head.

"No it's not true." She said.

"Mom JJ and Addison died on impact. Kyla and Kyle made it to surgery then died. At the exact same time." Hunter said. Mom started crying and dad hugged her also crying.

"I can't do this." I say and run out of the house. I run to the only other place I know. Matthew's.

"Skye what are you doing here?" Bobbie asks opening the door. I don't say anything I just run over to him and hug him.

"They're dead." I cry into his chest.

"Who's dead?" He asks.

"Kyla. Kyle. JJ. Addison." I cry more at their names.

"They can't be." I heard Matthew say. I just break down not able to say anything. He hugs me like there is no tomorrow. He carried me up to his room and laid me on my bed. We talked for a while and then I eventually cried myself to sleep that night.
