Chapter 18

"How about this one?" Matthew asked holding up a First Response Early Result Pregnancy Test. I heard those are one of the most accurate ones. I nodded and we bought four of them.

"Is this all you want?" He asked me. I looked around and saw a rack of chocolate bars. I grabbed a few and we went to the register.

"Is this all for you?" A lady said eyeing the pregnancy tests and then me. We nodded and she rang them up. Matthew wouldn't let me pay so he did.

"Okay. You good?" He asked when we got into the car. I looked at him and thought. I'm not nervous about this.

"Yeah I'm good." I said. He nodded and we left the parking lot.

"Is there like another place we can go in at? I don't want mom to see me still in my dress when we walk in." I asked Matthew.

"We have a shed over there. When the others get back you can change quickly in there and I'll hide the bag so they don't see it." He said. I nodded and the other pulled in. Ella handed me my bag and I ran over to the shed and changed. When I came out I threw my bag into Matthew's car and he had the bag hidden. We walked into the house and went upstairs unnoticed. We all went into Matthew's room and they sat on the bed while I went to the bathroom and took the tests with me. Now I'm kinda nervous. I did what I had to and it said to wait five minutes so I covered it back up ad walked out.

"So?" Hunter asked.

"I have to wait five minutes. Where are Addison and JJ? I haven't seen much of them today." I asked.

"In my room asleep." Bailey answered. I nodded ad checked my phone. Two more minutes. I sat down next to Hunter and took steady breathes.

"Everything will be okay." He whispered. I looked at my phone again and it was time. I stood up and they all looked at me. I walked over to the bathroom and shut the door. I don't want them to see my reaction right away. I look down and inhale sharply. It showed positive. I slid down the door and started crying.

"Skye are you okay?" I heard a voice ask on the other side of the door. I'm not sure if these were tears of joy or if they were tears showing that I was scared. Maybe both. I stood up and looked in the mirror. I took multiple breathes and opened the door.

"You're going to be an uncle." I say to Hunter who was standing at the door. He looked to see if I was joking but I held the test up for him to see. He took a sharp breath and looked at the others. He nodded and they all smiled. They smiled.

"Why are you smiling?" I asked.

"Well we have a reason to kill Jackson now. And I get to be an aunt." Ella said. I laughed a little and looked at Lucas. He was smiling the most.

"You okay?" I asked him. Without saying a word he ran over to me and picked me up spinning me around. Without hurting my arm.

"More than okay." He whispered and kissed my lips. Our first real kiss. I smiled and kissed him back.

"We have to tell the adults." I said when I pulled back. They all looked at me like I was stupid.

"Are you stupid?" Hunter asked me.

"Nope." I said running out of the room downstairs. They were sitting watching tv. JJ and Addison were in there too.

"Hey sweetie." Mom said when she saw me. The she furrowed her eyebrows when she heard the others chasing me. I had the test in the pocket so they couldn't see it.

"What's wrong with you people?" Addison asked.

"Mom I have some news. I'm not sure how you guys will react to it. Because honestly I'm not sure how I feel about is." I told her.

"Okay. You're scaring us." Dad said.

"Well prepared to be more scared." I said holding up the test. Their eyes widened and mom jumped up and ran over taking it.

"Scott. We are going to be grandparents." She said turning around.

"But I'm too young to be a grandpa." Dad said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. I rolled my eyes ad looked at mom to see her smiling. How did I get a family like this.

"Now explain why you had sex in the first place." Mom said getting serious. My smile fell and I looked at the others.

"Um." I said looking back I them.

"Well." She said.

"Ididn'twanttoJacksonforcedmetoo." I said in one word.

"What?" Dad asked looking at me.

"I didn't want to. Jackson forced me to. The day before we broke up. He didn't really cheat on me. Even though the girl I said he cheated on my with is now his girlfriend. But I broke up with him the next day. He didn't use a condom. He said it wasn't important. I ran away afterwards." I said looking down.

"Don't worry we are already going to kill him." Ella piped up. Everyone looked at her and she just shrugged. I rolled my eyes but still smiled.

"Okay. Well we have to set a doctors appointment up now." Mom said pulling out here phone to call someone.

"Jakob we need a doctors appointment for an ultrasound.... No you idiot I'm not pregnant.... You can do it for tomorrow great.... You'll find out who it is tomorrow.... No bye." She said hanging up.

"So."

"You have a doctors appointment at 11:00 tomorrow. Since he specials in this he will be your doctor." She said. I nodded and looked at the others. They have all sat on the stairs. Two on each stair. Perfect family photo. I smiled to myself and went and sat with Lucas. He smiled at me and kissed my cheek.

"I hope it's a beautiful girl just like you." He said.

"Don't forget you might have twins. I mean both of you are a twin. Well Skye is a triplet but still." Andrew said from above us. My face flushed and I looked over at mom. I stood up and ran to the nearest bathroom to throw up. I didn't even think about that.
